Hi Crystal, how are you? I will definitely follow orders. I'm surprised I don't get out of the sling and start actual PT for 6 weeks after surgery but I'm doing the pendulum swing rotation things that I'm supposed to do to prevent frozen shoulder. Don't want that!

Have a speedy recovery and pay attention to what your physical therapist tell you to do and don’t do. I’ve been through that with both shoulders it wasn’t fun.

Hi Charity! Fortunately this was only to repair a labrum tear that's been there for probably 20 years now, but it allows the shoulder to randomly dislocate so I finally decided I'd better just get it done and over with. The surgeon found a small tear in the rotator cuff and fixed that while she was in there but so far so good! 👍

Yep I got me some Angry Bird jammie pants and I've had them for probably close to 10 years! 🤣 they are definitely the easiest thing to get on and off so unless I have to leave the house, I'm alternating between these and my Angry Birds in Space pair 🤣🤣🤣

Oh no! I'm pretty diligent about the PT, though im surprised there isn't any until 6 weeks after the surgery. Guess it's got to heal before you can start working it but man is the whole thing gonna be out of shape by then! Honestly the thing bothering me most so far is the tendinitis in my elbow - having it bent in the sling is really setting that off, which makes the shoulder PT really hard 😖

Hey Lisa. Glad all is going well after surgery. Had my shoulder surgery 2.5 weeks ago and doing well also. Yes it does get a bit boring just sitting around. At least we are on the downhill side of getting better!

Hi Lance! Yes, I'm grateful to have it done and so far it's been super smooth. I didn't get much time in the shop over the summer and fall so the fact that I'm out most of the winter stings just a little bit more. But I'm catching up on stuff and making plans for when I can get back at it! Speedy recovery to you!

Hi, it is hard to just sit around ( even though you may get the chance to catchup on a bit of reading, or friends you’ve not spoken with for a while) but get well properly before starting back. 👍🐝🌞

Hi Jim! Yes, I'm doing a lot of computer type things and video editing. I don't want to have to go through this again so I'm definitely following orders. The time will go quickly and I'll be back at the lathe before I know it. Or so I keep telling myself 😉
