Stayed there once almost 30 years ago. Was a very nice hotel at the time. Had a nice view of Georgetown University, the National Cathedral, and the National Shrine Basilica

*Great video!* Watching huge buildings being brought down in such an explosive, deafening, and powerful, but yet a highly technical and delicate operation never gets old! I loved the slow-motion! *_If I could spend my life just going to demolition sites and witnessing this destruction each day I would be a very happy man!_* It must be a real adrenaline rush to be part of the explosive crew - the experts who set the explosives, wired it all, he/she who initiates the blasting, *and the company owner/s who is ultimately responsible for any kind of failure!*

Very neat pull down. Impressive.

At 1:19 you can see the fuse travelling across, inside the building if you look in the windows on the 8th floor. Cool Implosion though.
