I knew the MG was going to die the moment he was told to take that shot, if I was the MG guy I would have popped my head around, fired a half dozen shots and then sprung back out of sight, just enough to make the brass happy, that arc was just too hot.

a game with suppression... many people say its bullshit, but if i am raining bullets on you, you should not be able to peek and head shot me... thank god.
@michealcronin8586
5 жыл бұрын
And why not? Having been shot at i can assure you that the only thing being shot at does is determine whether you can remain calm and steady. Most of the time people are spraying and praying the chances of a good hit are low. If you can keep cool for a few seconds and know where the fire is coming from a good soldier can pop up just enough to line up a shot and send the other man home in a pine box. Suppressing keeps the those who can't remain calm down. That's it, it fucks with the mind, not the vision. In most of these games, you are playing as a soldier who has been in the shit for a while. It is extremely unlikely that suppression would cause them to have the issues most games portray.

@@marshingo5262 totally agree. You may say soldiers become battle hardened and or veterans. They might get used to being shot at. However, getting used to it does not make you immune to it. Holy shit Karma, this video was amazing. Probably my favourite of yours so far!
Wow, great team dynamic you got there!
I've been watching ShackTac do serious games like this in ARMA for 12 years it's awesome to see a group do something similar with Post S
Love it! make more of these!!!
When I watch these videos, it doesn't feel like WW2. With the squad radios and the lingo, it feels like modern special ops in old-timey costumes. Good video.
Love that communication at 7:25. You have a new sub
28:50 That was a pretty sweet "Fall baaaaaaack!" moment. Very well executed. 👍
Just found your channel. Never heard of any of these games. Been watching vids since last night. Great stuff! Loved the flyover at the end watching it unfold. Great stuff man.
Yesssss.... I haven't gamed in a longer time but this is imo what tactical gaming should strive for. Here's hoping for an official 1 life mode... the dead players could be even given some offgame tasks, e.g. packing crates and doing logistics off-site that increases the ammunition supplies or provides some sort of bonus for the players still alive. But even without that, I never had an issue waiting for my spawn in the ArmA games I played with 1 life, it was fun enough seeing how the events went on after my demise. The games just played out far differently. I really did fear for my virtual life and more than often, let another bloke lead the charge when it was my turn, lol! Good times.

THIS IS WHAT BFV SHOULD BE.
@dovaiS
5 жыл бұрын
gheddi Yep! This is milsim. So masses don’t like it most likely since they’ll be killed due to lack of strategy and the fact that most of the time you’re shooting in the general direction of enemy.
@dovaiS
5 жыл бұрын
gheddi I totally agree, sometimes you just gotta take a break and play something that’ll be fun either way.
@dongambino5308
5 жыл бұрын
BFV can be a milsim if it’s just you, went 14-0 the other night with my Kar and my little spotting scope, staying low and having to change positions after each headshot I took. Or how I love building a decent machine gunners nest, and just working those objectives with a mg34 or 42
@dovaiS
5 жыл бұрын
Don Gambino In that sense I agree. But I feel like BFV is more like a run and gun type game or faster paced. I don’t know how long games take (in bfv) but in Post Scriptum games take upwards of 30 minutes to up to an hour or two. If you play a BFV style type in this game. You will lose, you can’t go on solo (unless you’re recon). Half the time in Post Scriptum if you’re new, you will be shooting at the general direction. Not directly at enemy. These games take an immense amount of teamwork and coordination. In other words. While yes you can use Tactics in BFV its a faster pace, and you can see every single enemy you shoot. In Post Scriptum its slower and requires more teamwork. Half the time you’ll be shooting at bushes hoping the enemy fire will stop. TLDR: I think BFV appeals to masses more because its generally faster pace and one squad can solo carry the game.
@dongambino5308
5 жыл бұрын
Dov we’ll let me put this into perspective, there’s a game mode in which it’s a three day offensive, it’s a 45 minute long game with 3 days. 64 players, 32/32, and when you defend that main objective and you’re holding an mg42 with 250 bullets and 1070 something rounds per minute, and you’re being charged. Shits intense. That being said you can also sit there and shoot in general directions and actually do really well because you’ll get suppression points along with possible shots on enemies. I think it can be played however you really want, depending on game modes etc, and the way that BFV actually plays is something ridiculous, it’s the movement of PUBG, maybe better, put into a nice first person. I think the feel of the game is possibly my favorite game, and I’m saying this playing BF4 right now
This video made me sub your channel. Very immersive and intense gameplay, very good !
Best command yet. Great job!
1 Life event!!! Cool!!! Been waiting for this!!

duuuude this is just soooo cool, keep doing it
its contained moments like at 19:35 that honestly make the video for me
Sick. That was siiick
The god view over the last half of the video is fkn cool. As is the 1-life deal. I've always said that online matches lack the intensity they COULD have because you can just come back over and again from being fragged to bits. Wish I could join in on this fun, but will have to be content with just watching.
Do more of these! I love post scriptum
