I had OTR, Xforce, cam and a 6.2 GTS manifold on my manual 6.0 VE SS and made 340rwkw,the 6.2 inlet manifold made the difference with a nearly unbelievable 30kw extra

Wow that is impressive with the new inlet manifold. Changing the inlet manifold on the early 304s typically yielded good gains as well but didn't think the 6.0 manifolds were too restrictive. Well done!
Hi thanks for the videos love em . I just bought myself a ve Maloo but she needs a lot of love . So could you please show more detail in the modifications please . For example ( how you freed up the cable for the MAF) just little things can help thanks keep up the good work

Biggest problem I had was dropping the damn spanner down in front of the radiator and being unable to fit my fat arm down to retrieve it.

G'day Johnny, you betcha, lets hope they go a few steps further this year.
So far the only australian channel which has a real good way to doing upgrades to the mighty holden VE/Vf SS SSV Redlines, love to know who did all the work as far as the OTR, exhaust and more specifically the tuning, which is what i found a issue as far as once its tuned to say 98 ron ,you have to run 98 to get the best out of the engine or whatever ron its tuned to, just wondering is that correct? Why is there a ford next to that REDLINE BEAST ?

Gday, thanks for your positive comments, much appreciated! We did all the work on fitting the otr, headers and exhaust ourselves. Our local tune shop ( Gentech Auto) put in a custom tune and yes it runs on 98 with octane booster. The ford belongs to my fellow co-star on the channel, Frankie!!
Awesome Video Fred is the otr a new vcm one because your breather pipe should be on the throttle body hose that’s why maybe your getting a engine light also I reckon it will make 262rwkw 👍 also how did you score a maf sensor with the otr never seen one come with that anyway keep the videos rolling

Gday Gazza, the vcm was a second hander. Older model design and thats why we scored ol mates MAF! Breather pipe definitely goes on in the hose outlet in the body of this model of otr. I sorted engine light last night and cleared it. It was related to the recent radiator replacement.

OTR and exhaust are simple bolt ons for good gains. Time for some headers and get rid of the cast iron stock ones.

G'day Tom, yes and all items are second hand off Facebook marketplace! Goes to show you don't need to spend big money to get good after market parts and increase your power levels.
I have a VE SS2 UTE MY12 277 rwkw/ 371 rwhp, with vcm otr but with standard exhaust and hearders, but muffler delete and AFM delete.. pretty happy with it and sounds good, Kwinana performance did it 2 weeks ago for me.. and is a huge difference over standard.

G'day Phil, nice work and very respectable gains for your VE. Have you seen the video where we put the new tune in the snotbox and dial it up on the dyno? From memory we got the exact same number that you have quoted above. We did use XForce headers though. Hi Fred thanks for your reply. Thanks for the vids...I wish they where longer though... I did see your vid of the snot box, it's good.. I am also lucky enough to own a Phantom black VF2 MY 17 SSV Redline M6 W407, which I bought new 1 month before Holden stopped prodution. It's fiited with the Walkinshaw W407 Kit and custom dynoed which is cammed and putting out 360 rwkw or 480 hp at the wheels.. My ute is my recent daily as the Walky Redline is worth to much now, and is my fair-weather ride. Very happy with my Commodores, having owned 5 now incidentally owing a VF 1 Redline too before my Series 2 VF, a VE2 SSV and a VN SS ex cop bt1 with custom tune too..but nothing as powerful as your VF monster !! Great work and thanks for the cool content, let's keep Holden alive..

@@paradoxion8295 Hi, yep pretty happy with Kwinana Performance in Rockingham WA. Murry knows how to get the most out of mods I find, my Ute's throttle is super responsive, not sure what voodoo is carried out, but really luv my tune... and many friends of mine took my advice and saw them, and where really happy. I also get them to do any mechanical work I don't have time for, and they do a really great job.
What do you recommend for OTR, Ramjet 3 or VCM? Dont care about the looks only performance gains, cheers
Check your radiator pipe housing on the top of the radiator. Mine cracked and blew the pipe off. Apparently they are known for it.

G'day Rhys, yes we have already experienced that failure and we have replaced the radiator. Yep, known issue!
Still use maf sensor?

Yes mate, all sorted. It was due to the O2 sensor.

Hi Allan, we have still retained the original MAF sensor.
