Onboard with Abbie Eaton in her first run in the Peter Brock Replica Holden Commodore at Donington Park.
Made a bit of progress with setup throughout the day but some pretty fundamental issues still to be addressed as is usually the case with older cars! (Yes I realise the brake is long and almost none existent...this is one of the issues). Ha ha.

Hi Abbie, what is the purpose of the tap on the brakes right before downshifting and going into corner?

Knock-off of the brake pads. The small tap brings the pads back closer to brake rotor ready for a big brake application.

Are you running a pedal box or std brake booster? Sounds great though...

Started off with std booster, then changed to a twin master cylinder with adj bias, which we didn't have set up correctly, also when we did a strip down, a rear wheel bearing was failing, allowing the brake disc to float in the caliper. All sorted now.
One dislike from a guy who tried heel n toeing on a track day and ended up in the tires.
