This was awesome! Great job! Your mom(mum) handled that better than many tv celebrities and motor sports reporters do similar ride-alongs, kudos. My mom is terrified of aggressive driving and always a panicked passenger...I have to drive like an slow motion chauffeur with her, now if she argues with me, I’m buying her a helmet! Lol.

You can see the cortisol being processed and outed by adrenalyn at 2:08 after the "air time" , until then she thought she wasn't enjoying it, then she was only rationally convinced (because she should not, for what she believe herself to be)... but the grin in her face and the giggles and demeanor tells an absolutely different story. I'm sure if you put her first on a hard top Miata balls out fast, and then the lotus, in a week she would be asking for her section on the videos giving scores and screaming her lung out trough corners in giggles. Can't speak for pit lane entries, but a lot of mixed class endurance races such as GT4 and GT3 will often use the turn signals to indicate they are aware of the passing driver. Also on public track days they often require drivers to signal before the faster cars can overtake.
