Thanks for your valuable information. Actually I took a surgery of my right vocal cord polyps from a reputed hospital in before just 20 days. I feel better and no any problem in my throat in eating or swallowing. But my Voice is no clear and loud as my before voice.. People can understand that I have any problem in my vocal. I am not taking any medicines now. I am an office clerk, so I don't use my voice much. Please guide and suggest me.

mere voice 11 years se hoarse hai. Its sudden cause due to hormonal changes. checked many ENT. Endoscopy meh thickness of vocal cord hai.

Dear Doc, I am 60, a professor of English, an actor, reciter, and public speaker.. For last 7/8 years I have been suffering from hoarseness of voice. I am in this profession for about 30 years and I have to speak a lot. The first ENT specialist I met, advised me to consult a psychiatrist and prescribed some tablets of allergy. Later on the ENT I met found that I was suffering from Laryngopharyngeal reflux. He advised to keep my voice shut and prescribed a PPI. As I am teacher I had to deliver a few lectures daily (Pre Covid Time). The slightest I raise my voice , my voice gets choked. The last 2 ENT specialists found out that my vocal cord is thickened. I was prescribed Alaspan AM. What should I do to get rid of this malady? Please lead me light. Thanks and regards.

I m facing same problem....I m also a teacher and it is post covid period so I have to go back for lectures.... swelling feeling....little pain....plz provide contact details
