I actually think i worked it out: You take the chicken across. So fox and seed, no problem. Then you take the fox across, BUT you also leave the fox there and take the chicken back with you. Now the fox is alone, and you're with the chicken and seed. Then you take the seed across, and finally come back for the chicken
@knoccie_

How’s this any different from taking the chicken, then the grain, then the fox. Why take the chicken and then bring it back. It doesn’t make sense it’s the same outcome
@christophermccutcheon2143
9 ай бұрын
@@knoccie_ did you listen to the problem in the video? The problem says that you cannot leave the chicken and seed alone(the chicken will eat the seed) or leave the chicken and fox alone (the fox will eat the chicken). You take chicken first, leaving seed and fox alone. You then have a problem. If you take the seed and leave it then the chicken will eat it when you go back. If you take the fox and leave it then it will eat the chicken when you go back. So how do you avoid this? You take one across and then take the chicken back with you. So then you take the seed across, but take the chicken back so the seed is alone. Then you leave the chicken on the wrong side again, and take the fox across. Now you can leave the seed and fox at the other side and come back for the chicken

Everyone must die once. Then they are judged. Hebrews 9:27 ERV But Christ died for us while we were still sinners, and by this God showed how much he loves us. Romans 5:8 ERV Yes, God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him would not be lost but have eternal life. John 3:16 ERV Change your hearts and lives and be baptized, each one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ. Then God will forgive your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Acts 2:38 ERV Jesus answered, "Believe me when I say that everyone must be born from water and the Spirit. Anyone who is not born from water and the Spirit cannot enter God's kingdom. John 3:5 ERV The true children of God are those who let God's Spirit lead them. Romans 8:14 ERV Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life. But those who do not obey the Son will never have that life. They cannot get away from God's anger. John 3:36 ERV If you think you can fool God, you are only fooling yourselves. You will harvest what you plant. Galatians 6:7 ERV If we decide to continue sinning after we have learned the truth, then there is no other sacrifice that will take away sins. Hebrews 10:26 ERV You can enter true life only through the narrow gate. The gate to hell is very wide, and there is plenty of room on the road that leads there. Many people go that way. But the gate that opens the way to true life is narrow. And the road that leads there is hard to follow. Only a few people find it. Matthew 7:13-14 ERV Great blessings belong to those who are tempted and remain faithful! After they have proved their faith, God will give them the reward of eternal life. God promised this to all people who love him. James 1:12 ERV But the one who remains faithful to the end will be saved. Matthew 10:22 ERV No one has ever seen, no one has ever heard, no one has ever imagined what God has prepared for those who love him. 1 Corinthians 2:9 ERV And the Good News I have shared about God's kingdom will be told throughout the world. It will be spread to every nation. Then the end will come. Matthew 24:14 ERV

I am struggling to work out which is the most irritating thing about this clip (albeit that it’s just a tv show). Firstly a reminder to me that Ricky Gervais is just an arsehole, secondly the character he played was even more irritating , or thirdly the reminder of the hours of my life I wasted enduring similar boring, pointless, mind numbing, useless training sessions that only ever achieved a good fee for the often useless trainer. Often based on spurious theoretical tripe that never ever replaced a good manager, who was good at their job and leading staff by good example.

Shouldn’t be allowed near animals then
Damn. Never watched this but this is so much better than the US office. Hollywood just sucks the originality and relatability out of everything and replaces it with a fairy tale.

Am I going mad or in the show when it was broadcast didn't Gareth make a comment about the farmer like "he shouldn't be allowed near animals then", or something, when Tim suggested he was gay at 1:44? There's a hard cut there after but I don't know whether I'm misremembering it.

These corporate teambuilding things are painful, especially when you know you’re only gonna work there for about six months
Good job the questions Gareth had weren't in the final script - they'd have definitely been removed from this clip
The chap giving the session looks like Mark Reckless the politician
Ricky has REALLY hit the nail on the head regarding the utter lunacy of the corporate world! Small wonder that this show took off in the way that it did! And still continues to do so! Why? Because not only is it incredibly funny, it's also tragically TOO real!!! 😂😅😮

lol why did you cut the "well he shouldn't be around animals then" part after Tim says the farmer is Gay? And by doing that you've made that the prevailing comment on this video. If you are going to upload copyrighted material and then try to monetize it then the least you can do is not screw around with the art of comedy.

Who took out Gareth’s line about the farmer? Leave art alone
"Some questions..."
Martin Freeman had to solve the same problem in Fargo.
"Not this farmer, he's gay" haha.
Farmer doesn't have to take the fox across 2nd. He can do the bag 2nd, come back with the chicken, take fox over and finally the chicken again
Rowan shouldn't have looked so glum. He still got paid for the gig and probably finished early that day.
Is that Stewart Pearson?
what happened to Gareth's line about gay farmers not being allowed near animals?
Take the chicken first. Drown the fox and take its body to the other side. Take the feed to the other side.
I actually think i worked it out: You take the chicken across. So fox and seed, no problem. Then you take the fox across, BUT you also leave the fox there and take the chicken back with you. Now the fox is alone, and you're with the chicken and seed. Then you take the seed across, and finally come back for the chicken
@knoccie_

How’s this any different from taking the chicken, then the grain, then the fox. Why take the chicken and then bring it back. It doesn’t make sense it’s the same outcome
@christophermccutcheon2143

OK serious question: I know these sort of "team building excercises" were quite a thing in the 90's. They always, to me, seemed so pointless though and this parodies why, perfectly. So I need to ask: Has anyone been on one of these sort of team building excercises recently?

These things still exist. Such as the one in the primary school where you're taught how to "physically handle" children with "challenging behaviour". And you have to practice these intricate, overly designed, highly specific hand movements on adults who are basically letting you do it to them.
Why isn't Gareth 's response to Tim saying the farmer is gay in here ? 🤔

No no no no no , why clip the punchline ? Give up
I am struggling to work out which is the most irritating thing about this clip (albeit that it’s just a tv show).
