Congratulations to David and Jonatan on yet another fantastic tournament. They epitomize modern beach volleyball. It will be interesting to see what lessons future talents will learn from their innovative game.

It's got to be the future of volleyball. Really the only way for a undersized team to be able to compete with giant blockers.

@@jaegek We've seen similar teams before, but never on this level, with this kind of athleticism and at such a young age. That said, the lenient way in which handsetting is now being called greatly benefits the modern, more flexible style and opens up possibilities which past teams simply did not have.

VBTV Commentators did a great job. Congrats to SWE and BRASIL. 🎉🎉🎉

Hats down to this Swedish team. Amazing performance. Germany had them at the brink of defeat and Brazil called for a third set. It seems teams are catching up but David and Jonathan are still state of the art in modern BV 🏐

What a fight back by brazil in the second.. Love watching them.

I love the yell Andre made at 4:29. It's like he said "I've had enough of your on 2 bs plays." Monster blocks at the net. Too bad Brazil couldn't convert for the win but these teams are catching up to these young Sweds.

George e André precisam elaborar um treino específico para enfretar essa dupla, pois sem dúvidas esses caras ameaçam tomar a medalha de ouro do Brasil em Paris. Mais uma vez perdemos uma final de torneio pra eles. Não da pra sacar na mão, a qualidade de passe dessa dupla é surreal

Ameaçam tomar a medalha de ouro do Brasil?? A medalha de ouro é da Suécia ou da Noruega, não existe discussão. O Brasil que tá na luta pra tentar pegar pelo menos um bronze.

@@pedrovitor3968 Concordo com ambos comentários, mas nessa segunda final eu vi uma evolução grande de nossos representantes, estamos no caminho certo, o Pedro tem razão tem que forçar o saque, na etapa anterior os Russos meteram 2 x 0 fácil sacaram bem e os suecos não tiveram reação..

Por esses lances, me parece que o fiel da balança foi o alemãozinho de faixa na cabeça, por que ? Fora o que vc disse de saque, fica claro que ele é um rato dos bons em leitura de posicionamento (malícia), seja largada ou cortada. Ou o time adversário busca mais frieza em colocação de largadas e cortadas, ou ele sempre vai se adiantar para estar na posição por conta de malícia de leitura de bola.

Essa dupla Suéca será a dupla considerada mais forte nas Olimpiadas, apesar da lesão sofrida pela dupla Norueguesa que vão têr dificuldades de estarem 100%, é importante que George e André continuem pontuando no Ranking para teoricamente conseguirem um caminho mais fácil nos play-office das olimpidadas, eu acho que essa Olimpíadas terá o nível mais alto de todas as olimpiadas no volei de praia, atualmente há muitas duplas boas com uma certa vantagem a favor dos suécos e Noruehueses.

I still think that Hellvig's block is the backbone of his team's success, as strong a defender as Åhman has become (and perhaps even the better of these two players).

Saudades do vôlei inteligente, malandro da década de 90, infelizmente essa geração não aprendeu que vôlei de praia é inteligência. Um time que usa bolas de segunda com saque na mão é muita ingenuidade, sempre atacar pra baixo, não usar a largada e o bloqueio tbm. Cadê o técnico que não vê isso? Vôlei brasileiro precisa rever seus conceitos urgentemente.

Esse vôlei dos anos 90 não pega nem top 16 nos dias atuais, vôlei ficou mais rápido, mais físico e principalmente mais altos, só olhar as duplas suecas, norueguesas e até mesmo a cubana...

Nice job of showing 90% of highlights only sweedish points. E.g. second set, Sweden lead 4-0, next rally score is 7-6. Why don't you show how brazil made that comeback?

Ahman is amazing, but it is much harder to find a blocker like Jonathan than a defender like Ahman. Tall athletic blockers that can jump set and pass like Jonathan are rare.

the big difference though is if you are doing it as a block or attack ;)

@@chris96eq81 I am not sure if you can still call that a block. He is actively reaching back and throwing the ball... 2:22 should just not be part of Beach Volleyball. Just as open hand attacks as 8:48 aren't...

@@chris96eq81 good, we agree on something. I can accept the open hand, but as a former player and coach that block-throw just hurts me stomach. But this is complaining on high level ;)

Brazilians don t like this...😮😅😂.
