Hard to see Monza choke that first set and it really set the tone for the rest of the game

I agree. They definitely have what it takes to compete at against Perugia, they just need to be able to close out sets.

Indeed a real nightmare, it's so hard beat Perugia the team has full great players in their national team.. I think Perugia also so called a dream team

The firsr set was such a let down for Monza

he had a good game imo - joint top scorer with plotnytski (18pt) + 70% attack efficiency and the best passing stats on monza...

Perugia top

too many chances given to Monza by PGA but still monza couldnt seize it .. obviously PGA is the better team .. congratulations PGA !

I agree. Monza definitely has the capability to keep up with Perugia, the just need to be able to close out a set. Perugia as a team also looks a lot more solid and complete on their offense compared to Monza who seems to be scrambling on the court a lot more. Definitely interested to see how they adjust for the upcoming game.

Perugia is simply the most spectacular team in the italian league, a deserved victory .The greatest spikers in just one team. Poor Takahashi good player ,has having an hard time with a block that is way too high for him and closes the way to all possible angles .

Ran had like 16 attacks in 70% success rate, I don't think he struggled to score. He was pretty much Monza's best player in that game.

Did you even see the match? I had never seen Ran attacking that effecient in front of Perugia's blocks. His attacking efficiency was 69.5% even higher than their middles. His problem was the serves, which just made Giannelli easy to run his offences. Monza can't win unless they serve much better than they did in Semi final series.

@@Benn1406 they really have to put Perugia under more pressure. Perugia MBs were having a field days. And pass better too. Poor Maar had to deal with all sort of junks in the 1st 2 sets that got him frustrated and out of rhythm. Easier said than done ofc, Perugia serves and passes really well and steady. Might take sth insane like that game 2 from Milano to beat them

ตื่นมาทันตอนโดนนำไป 2-0 มอนซ่าเมื่อคืนเกมบุกสู้ได้นะ แต่เกมรับไม่ดี น้องรันก็มาตรฐานสูงเหมือนเดิม แต่เกมรับทีมไม่ดีทำให้แพ้ แต้มที่น้องพลาดท้ายเกมก็แอบสงสารน้องเหมือนกัน แต่ช่างมันเถอะ คนเราไม่ได้ perfect ตลอดเวลา พลาดกันได้

The commentator is not talking about Perugia, but about Lorenzetti, who won the title with Trentino last year

Monza lost the match when they lost the first set. At one point it was 16-21 then 3 set point, they were frustrated at the end of that set. Ran is definitely overhype.

Ran is overhyped what? He's literally the best scorer of both teams along with Oleh with 18points with 70% attacks too, his receiptions is good. Please watch the match with objective view 😐

ちなみにマーやレプキーはそれぞれ7、8得点でブロックもそれぞれ5本づつ食らってる 加えて藍よりレセプション受数が少なく、チームメイトは完全に藍の足を引っ張っている😢
