got mine "used" with 4 mags for $650. Swooped that shit right up. Love the trigger on this pistol. It's light and predictable. It's just huge. I don't like carrying it without jeans; it's like carrying a drill in your pocket. More of a backpack pistol lol. Oh, and the nightsights. Holy shit those sights are fire.

Yes, Awesome weapon, my hk45 tectal, is best weapon i ever owned. For me, double action is loooog, but single is made in heaven an 25 to 30 dead ON. YES it's big for edc,but you want to go to gun fight with a Derringer or a real full-size Pistol, in the end ,oh yeah recoiled is like a 380 cal ,i own a lot of weapon an 3 1911 6in 45cal, the hk is so smooth. Too each it own.

@jorge vazquez nah, the only thing garbage on the HK45 Compact is the acessory rail. So short it's practically useless, very few lights fit it. For that reason the HK45 full size is the way to go.

Awesome video . I love mine . For me the trigger paddle mag release is one of my favorite features. The red mark on the top of the ejector pin is another . A quick look tells you if it's chambered or not without a press check. I wouldn't let the slide slam home like that without chambering a round on any hand gun , It could cause damage to the locking face . The round acts as a buffer .

Heard good things about this sidearm. I like the features you pointed out save one: the takedown. Don’t like automatics that need the slide lined up whilst under pressure from the spring in order to push out a pin. Beretta 92’s Sig P220’s and the like don’t have this. Others might not mind it but for me it’s a dealbreaker.

  • @UnprofessionalOutdoors

Interesting. When I first got into shooting it was with HK’s that all breakdown like this, so I got used to it early on. I could see not liking it though if you’re used to guns that don’t need to be under pressure to breakdown.

I have noticed that some are made in the US and are made in Germany. The US ones don’t have the German proof marks on the slide. Correct me if I am wrong. I picked one for $650.00, 2 mags and the 2 back straps and extra O-rings plus the box. I use the small back strap on mine, it just feels comfortable and more natural to me. Mine has the luminescent sights, which I will be swapping those out for the Trijicon XD night sights. Has any one had a issue with US made ones?
