Sir, trust me, EXO is THAT group... They have ton emotional song... Especially in Winter album, please check it one by one ☺ FYI our D.O.Kyungsoo is King of Riff n Run, his pronounciation not only Spanish, but his English also superb sir... He is also talented actor n chef! He has Korean cooking license...when he served military, he placed in military kitchen... He is man that have full of charm. Thanks for your reaction 😊

In 2014, EXO performed Sabor A Mi as a quartet in Mexico. So it isn't the first time DO did a Spanish song. But it is the first time he sings an entire song in Spanish by himself, and not a cover of a known Spanish song.

This song wrote 10 years ago. But, D.O. be the lucky singer ... He is chosen to song this song. It was so crazy and amazing, that this song (write 10 years ago) is sang by Exo D.O

Let’s admit it. D.O. is just talented. And he can exceed your expectations.

D.O. can sing, write songs, is an amazing actor, an great cook (has his cooking license and was a military chef when he enlisted), can dance and tap dance and has great drawing skills.

I just "discovered" this song last month and until now it keeps playing in my head...just love love LOVE their rendition of it

D.O.'s voice is my favorite.

He IS really blessed by this tone! And he’s soo soft , he said the songs which he chose touch everyone’s soul ,or at least one song will , he’s a real artist ,he didn’t even promote on any show(actuallythe company didn’t promote him :| ),he doesn’t have social media accounts , he just wants to do the things he likes ,like singing and acting(he’s ranked no.1 idol actor),so just the people who likes him enjoy it and feel better , he’s a gentle soul I REALLY RESPECT HIM In my opinion he released a package of FEELINGS not only an album,i liked each and every song,they’re nostalgic I’m proud of him,he’s not my bias but I’m soo happy for him even more than i was for my bias he deserves to be in highest levels cause he has a beautiful soul and everyone who knows him they know how HUMBLE he is even Exo mother’s likes him the most 😆❤️ he put too much feelings into it as always he doesn’t do anything without being perfect in his opinion for the people who like him, in my opinion his album is about THE QUALITY He has RNB song with yoo youngjin(D.O’s vocal coach + he produced the song for D.O.) the song called “tell me what is love” And i wish you check out lay’s songs too he produces his own music,song writer, main dancer, actor,director ,CEO,etc (he’s the only Chinese member in Exo) His songs which they’re BOPS: Lit Namanana Honey And I’m waiting for more Exo stuffs Thx for the reaction❤️😊

the company DO promote him... but he doesnt have the time to appear in any promotional show (radios&tv shows) cause our kyungsoo is BOOKED, BUSY, & THRIVING with his acting schedules!!! he told us himself and thats his decision!! just stop blaming the company they are ALL working hard, a thank you would be nice hehehehhe

This album shows how confident D.O. is with his vocal ability. I didn't like the genre in this album at he beginning, but I DO love this album now. Good music really can alter people's taste

The description in the end about dish and chef thing made me laugh a little, because it remind me that D.O. is very well known for his cooking skill and have cooking license 😁, any way as always i love your break down.. this album is really my style, a very cohesive album for me from the 1st song until the last song is like a strory telling, and his beautiful voice is the one that made me fall into kpop especially into exo

Speaking of taking years to develop his voice, although I wasn't a fan yet during the early years of their career, I've watched videos of him singing live in radio and tv show guestings. I remember hearing him go off-key and even have voice cracks. I believe at that time, he was not very confident with his vocal skills yet and he tends to hesitate upon hitting the difficult notes, hence, the voice cracks, flats, and sharps. But now, adding to his voice quality that attracts even non-fans, the fact that he does all these riffs and runs so effortlessly, this just goes to show how he worked diligently to get to where he is right now as a vocalist. Kudos to him, and the rest of EXO as well. As always, thank you for this reaction, Adam. Looking forward to learn more about music, from you.

Apparently this song was written quite sometime back probably the reason why you picked up on the melody being from some time back. This song is beautiful lyrically and D.O. did it so much justice. It’s one of my favourite songs on this no skip album. D.O.’s vocals are beautiful, passionate and make you pay attention.

SI FUERAS MIA sounds like an old school latín balad. I LOVE IT and his spanish is beautiful, he even sings with differents latín spanish accents. i'm in love 🥰

Kyungsoo / D.O. is my favorite singer.

I dont speak or understand spanish but this track is definitely my top favorite from his solo album Empathy along with one of the songs he wrote IM FINE.

D.O. (Kyungsoo) is wonderful.. Si Fueras Mía is the same song over and over and yet he transforms it in amazing ways each time with his voice.. it's like he wants each part to deliver a different emotion in a conversation very intimate with the guitar chords... I love chasing the nuances he gives to the song... please react to My Love also by Empathy... I find it a very interesting song guitar at the beginning and throughout and piano at the end and interspersed with all this his voice... Thanks for this

he has a unique taste in music too...he like emotional and meaningful songs and he always wanted to sing a song acoustic.just his voice and guitars that's why his solo different from how he sings in the group

This album makes you even more excited when you find out that Kyungsoo himself wrote the title song was directly involved in the writing and selection of absolutely every song in the album and put his soul into his masterpiece. These are the type of songs that can tell you to slow down and just listen. D.O.'s vocals can soar alone. I think that his decision to make his 1st solo album focused more on acoustics and emotions is so clever and apt because the album is literally him. It showed all of his feelings that he'd like to convey through his vocal colours. It's so pure and delicate, which is not common in pop album releases these days. The songs in this album give me peace and put me on a journey with some nostalgic moments. This particular song is special. It's from a decade ago, and he sang it in Spanish, which is not his 1st language, and based on the feedback he really did a great job. I will always have time to listen to an acoustic song with the kind of voice like D.O.'s and also, he did the back vocals in his songs, that's how incredible he is. I'm Gonna Love You, My Love, and I'm Fine, I hope you could listen to these, too. He really gave us great music. BTW what you said about the future of music where there'll be no genre, that would probably be one of the best things that could happen! ^____^ we could all be beating as one. This is really interesting I never thought you will continue reacting to D.o’s album as obviously it’s acoustic compare to other music it has lesser music production but still I’ve learned a lot. As you point out how the song has a familiar of the RnB runs and rifts way back late 90s and early 2000s probably because except that the song was written a long time, D.o’s special skills that is widely known about him is his RnB and classic style of singing that was inspired by his vocal coach yoo youngjin (the writer). Also I love how you mention the possibility of music not having a genre after time because EXO members themselves see music as a limited thing where a person can interpret him/herself and emotion “music has no competition” as well as genre and language because it’s an art we can communicate through ears and feelings.

I find it beautiful, I don’t understand Spanish at all but this song and the way D.O. delivers it, touched my heart and I felt the emotions. They just have this one beautiful feeling that I don’t know how to explain, been listening to it non-stop. It made me want to learn Spanish too!

Exo members is great soloist ... We have 6 members who have debut as great and amazing soloist .. It start from: Lay Chen Baekhyun Suho Kai D.O We are waiting for next member (chanyeol, xiumin, sehun). But, all of them has their own single (song), you should check all of their songs... Their technic, vocal, attitude of sing, they also give great feel in their song...

it was also originally in spanish but kyungsoo decided to keep the spanish ver since he said it sounded really pretty and knew the intl fans would like it also made a korean ver called “it’s love” which is also really good

Wow, amazed at how much you can hear. Appreciate your music knowledge as I could hear the hispanic/Latin influence but didn't realize the same melodical structure has been used in American r&b. Very cool.

Hi Adam! Thank you so much for giving free music lessons.haha I have actually been paying attention to the background everytime I hear a song (but this only applies to songs I love.haha). Oh I love the guitar, that melody is sick, etc. That's how I usually react. Hello Adam I love and appreciate these bits that you've done with EXOs songs and now with their solo projects. I now hear things that I haven't really noticed before. I just enjoyed their music and now I understand a little bit of why. I listen to their ballad songs a lot because even if I don't speak Hangeul I can feel the emotion of the song which this group just delivers perfectly. I hope you would listen to EXOs Light's Out, EXO CBXs Paper Cuts, Chen's Beautiful Goodbye, and Baekhyun's Every Second. These songs feel so sad it always invokes in me this sort of serene sadness (?) and I don't even understand the words, I just feel the emotions in their voice. So it would be nice to have a breakdown of what makes these songs sound so tragic.

Thank you for he breakdown ,because of your channel , I try to hear details in every sec of the songs. Just my opinion , I think SM don't want the song they pick open to all until company release the song.

This song was created 10 years ago? Damn.. This just proves that for some things, it’s not about “when” but about “who”. If i am a song composer/lyricist, I too would only want my work to be sung by someone who fits the song and have the passion to sing it. It’s not about how soon can the world hear my song, but how good the song actually is. And that can only be conveyed by the singer.

Yeah just like EXO's TEMPO composer. He only wanted the song to be sung only for THE RIGHT PERSON/GROUP. Even he rejected many demands from other agencies to create song as spectacular as TEMPO. But He rejected it, cause he thought only EXO MEMBERS could execute perfectly, until NOW

Fun Fact: EXO's Baekhyun, Suho, D.o and Chanyeol covered SABOR AMI back in 2014 for their mexican fans during a SMTOWN concert they held there. And even then D.o sounded almost fluent and now he sings one of his own tracks like the demo and it really shows us how much he has improved as well :) I really love how much he's always considerate of his international fans
