I'd be so cool if you could look a little deeper into Fallout lore and see how the Fallout timeline diverts from our own, even if it's just for your own knowledge/curiousity. Fallout history starts to change when the Japanese surrender to the Allied in September the 2nd, 1945. It's really cool to just read about it and see similarities and parallels :)
I just became your 4,000th subscriber! Just stumbled upon this channel and it's fantastic! Instant sub for me
Interesting fact about the Davy Crockett, the instruction was to set the weapon at maximum range on the back of a jeep driving away from the blast site in order to ensure that the users aren't caught in the zone of fallout.
Do Victoria II. Is the way POPs behave accurate? Does it best emulate how to industrialize? Etc.
Love the idea for the channel, and the feedback from the guests. It would be great if you kept the game-audio a bit lower. Some of the game audio can be really intrusive, fe. gun shots or supermutant screams in this video.

+rasulpl thanks for the comment. It's been a hard balance to strike between the interview volume and the game volume. I've had a lot of comments in the past arguing the opposite. It would help if those super mutants weren't so loud!

Maybe you could use the OST music from the shown game? It wouldn't be so intrusive, but it would still give a proper atmosphere.
Great idea. Congrats on your article in AHA. Coolness.
This is really great. 2 suggestions: 1) lower your game audio, or just dont have any game audio at all. 2)if you havent already really consider releasing a podcast version as well as the video so people can listen to your features on their way to work or in their cars. Really great stuff, enjoyed it a lot.

+Chris Minjae Kim Thanks! Podcast is starting this month. Should be a mix of interview recordings and original content.
Fantastic video. Instant subbed! Looking forward to watching your back-catalog.
Awesome channel! Please lower the game sound though, I appreciate listening to conversation much more than the game's sounds.
You should have another talk with Jonathan Hunt, but about Peace Walker and the nuclear deterrence theory that's talked about in the game. Edit: nvm he talked about the Cuban missile crisis. S'all I needed to hear.

+DiglidiDudeNG We definitely want to cover MGS soon. I think there are some interesting topics to cover in MGS III and MGS V, in particular.
Awesome! Cheers Bob!
Excellent episode!
wow, glad i found this!
Amazing listen! Thanks.
This is good stuff here, nice work!
This is gonna be a good one!
Here's a suggestion: examine NATO and Soviet battle doctrine during the Cold War, particularly developments during the 1980's with the USA and Air Land Battle. A good candidate for an example game is the Wargame series, which feature NATO and Soviet Bloc units.
Another great video! And I would love a Red Dead Redemption one! That Western time is fascinating to me.

+Mathias Olivera We've collected footage for Red Dead. Still trying to lock down a scholar to talk about it. I'm hoping we can have it for January.

Amazing. Fingers crossed! And keep up the great work. It is a quite unique take on videogames, and I like it a lot.
One on the anti-war sentiments of the metal gear series would be interesting. Get a political academic on board for a video like that?
