Two years later and this is still one of my favorite games to replay. Just the way they truly brought classical Greece to life still yanks at my heartstrings.

And the fun ship combat doesn't hurt either! My favorite AC game by far!

I've seen this game get alot of hate, but I've noticed is that the people who don't like this game usually aren't interested in the historical aspects.
I'm playing for the first time and this is by far the best video I found about this subject, congratulations!!
Could you please make a similar video for Ezio's Trilogy? I'd be very interested in your opinion about Ubisoft's representation of The Renaissance.
Im deep into the game right now and this video does help a lot, thank you. I already played Origins but since I recently found this channel, I'll be watching the Origins vid later.
You know, she was more "supportive" of the game than I thought she was going to be. Ubisoft writers did their homework. Good job.

Way way too supportive of the game.
This is a great video it was really informative.
One issue I have with Odyssey in terms of authenticity that all the statues were "clothed ~ up". No bare beast on female & no male gentiles on males.
Excellent video!
The more disciplines like astronomy, philosophy, various techné and kind of maths got forward (and mixed and informed the politics to give birth to democracy with Clisthenes...590~ BCE) the more Oracles were less considered. There r letters of late IV century that talk of how oracles were obsolete... superstition.
Damn, that Trump comment was sadly spot on..

I think the work is good by ubisoft and consultants they got but the reception rendered in the game of the pieces or quality of dialogues .. i think it s a little bit low quality... not really funny not really educative, I wish I had a little critique and less overly partial position (too positive) over what we experience in the game.

Idk I still think the historical aspects are fascinating. I do agree that some of the voice acting isn't exactly great but it is passable and the voice actors are frequently actually Greek which is nice. But then maybe I myself am a little biased. Getting to explore ancient Athens and to see the Parthenon fully reconstructed in it's prime is incredible, and the size and scope of the game just blew me away
Still find the main story boring. Like the history but if you removed the historic battles it adds nothing.
I was going to subscribe and like the video, but after watching two and your need to bring your political bias into these is just annoying. Really? How can you be educated and claim that Trump is trying to “destroy democracy,” just, wtf?
