    I still have 6 4/0 penn reels with the Tiburon kit in Mint condition. Dad & i loved them! RIP DAD 🙏😥

    4/0 narrow and 99 size are hands down my favorite size saltwater reels. R.I.P. Carl Newell

    Both sizes live on in Penn's current lineup; the Narrow 4/0 is now called "40N", and the 99 size is now called "25N".

    Also take a look at Avet’s HXJ it’s roughly a 4/0 size and it’s a narrow. They typically only come in two speed, however on CharkBait.com they got some left over stock of single speeds that Avet made specially for halibut fisherman in Alaska and they’re on clearance for 180ish. I bought one to add to my collection of avets and it’s been working amazing.

    Shimano Trinidad 40 narrow is the best yellowtail special
