This was the last prestigious belt design that WWE came up with. It's like if the big eagle and the big gold belt did a super saiyan fusion dance. It's a shame that it only had a 3 year life span compared to that glorified spinning toy that lasted eight flipping years.

That glorified spinning toy was beautiful and while it certainly didn't look great on everyone, the design by itself is objectively and subjectively beautiful, but everyone's entitled to their own opinion.

As much I love the spinner belt, I admit the undisputed belt is the true version of the WWE Championship.

Damn Eddie looked so damn good wearing that wonderful belt. I still miss him rip the legend eddie and rip this wonderful belt.

I just got the v2 yesterday. It's a beast

Version 2 was the one. This design will always be the Brock Lesnar belt to me.

My favorite belt by far, and I LOVE the massive V2!!!

Yeah most people’s favourite belt is the Winged Eagle and that was a small ish belt as well. I think the Undisputed looks best with the eagle painted because the two tone pops really well, but yeah the Undisputed V2 is far too big and it almost looks comical at how big it is. I think they should’ve got rid of the Spinner around 3 years in as well, they should’ve given Randy Orton a new title design after he retained the title at Mania 24, imo the Spinner was around for far too long. I really do miss when the belts looked like trophies and not like toys.

I can agree that they should've changed the design of the title when Cena was injured and they put the belt on Orton. After the point where they stopped making it spin was when I felt the title had worn out it's welcome, but calling it a toy and something that doesn't look like a trophy is a gross hyperbole.

The spinner belt was John Cena. Period. It was like the Smoking Skull, it was made for Austin. The spinner belt with the spinning logo and “champ” was specific to Cena. I only imagine they kept it so long as they did because it was very expensive and the replicas sold well to kids.

WWE seems to be content with having the same belts for years on end. I can't believe the US title is still the same. Going on 17 years with that damn design thats horrible! I just miss the days of nice looking classic belts

I can't decide as far as my favorite. But in terms of which one I want to return, I want the v4 to come back, because that one being a "smaller" belt, could fit in with these new wrestlers but if bigger wrestlers ever make a return, it wouldn't look bad on them either. Just see the Big Show when he had it. That said, everything checks out, and the Heritage (or as I like to call it, the Heritage Eagle belt) has finally been done justice. Thank you, Hazard F5 for doing my childhood (and others like me) and an underrated era, an underrated belt design, thank you, for doing all of it, justice.

I always loved the design, and the belt in general because of what it represented as far as the merger of two different iconic championships. I just felt that a title that represented something so significant should've been bigger to make that bold statement when the V1 came out.

I actually loved the size of the V2 due to it was sooo se to be the fusion of both WWF and WCW. But like you the V5 was to me an amazing belt Definitely my favorite belt (not counting BG)

Great review, HazardF5. Really liked the DBZ cover at the intro too. I know you covered the real belts. But, in terms of replicas, how many replica versions were made (Figs Inc, WWE shop, etc.) and what versions of the real belts did they mimic?

There were 3 technically. In 2002/2003 they released a V1 replica (based on the WWF V1 with a WWE logo, an image of the advert for it can be seen at 4:45) and the giant V2 (based on the actual V2) and last year they re-released the Undisputed on WWE shop, that is also based on the WWF V1 like the original replica BUT the art has been changed and not in a good way.

I've got the replica belt. Miss this one.

Hazard F5, thank you for this in depth review and knowledge of the 'Undisputed' championship title. I personally wasn't a fan of this title and the undisputed name of the title because it looked a bit like a knockoff of the 'Winged Eagle' belt, however not going to lie that i do like the black and gold look because it looks a bit like the winged eagle belt with the black and gold, but never understood why it was called the undisputed championship until now. I can now appreciate the undisputed title's history behind it as you thoroughly explained how it all came to be, especially the five different versions of the title which i wouldn't have noticed nor cared for. I kinda of like version 1, version 4, and version 5, they're nice. Nice in depth review and thank you. Keep up the great work. Learning about championship titles as i listen to your reviews. Been of fan of wrestling since the late '80s and today, WWF/WWE 4 Life. My favorite WWF tag team championships are the classic '86-'92, best design of all time. Fandu belts makes them which are very nice and cool, 8mm plates with the quality classic look which makes that tag title even more prestigious. Ever thought of doing a video with Wrestling Bios? I think with you two on any wrestling topics would be cool. Nice review.

I love the V1. That's my favorite design. I prefer the smaller size. I think it really works.

I love this belt. It was the second replica I ever owned and one of my favorites. I have say that the Version 1 is probably my favorite. My only nitpick about this belt besides it’s super disappointingly short run was that I hated the inconsistency of the Champions Name Plates. The Font was always different and sometimes looked generic. I remember thinking “that looks so cheap” while Eddy had it. But the actual title itself was remarkable and I absolutely love it. Now seeing the black washed version makes me love it more! Thanks for the video!

Let me be very clear, I do not own all these belts that I've showed lol They're either ring used or belong to collectors. Some are from person belts I have owned but certainly not all.

It only stayed with us for three years but what truly GLORIOUS 3 years that was! Technically that belt stayed until Judgment Day 2005 as JBL stole it upon Cena introducing the "spinner"-belt, then the Dr. of Thuganomics got it back and it would never be seen again.

How have you been? If possible;can you do a review of the NWA United States belt? The Magnum/Nikita/Luger belt?

Wow Hazzard tremendous video and analysis! You just gave this long time belt mark a new appreciation for a belt I always thought was just ok. The version 5 seems to be the perfection of the design and I now wish a high quality replica of it was available. I hate the whole crop of current titles in all the United States based companies. Exceptions being the NXT North American & AEW World titles. I think a reasonable story line to bring this belt back could be done through Paul Heyman and Brock coming out with the version 3 and some story about him being the true champion for... reasons lol. Which could lead to a version 6 (updated version 5) being created to replace big W (as I call it). Then bring in a whole new and different design for the Universal and we’re off to the races for a new era of good belts. I’m hoping AEW hit a home run with the TNT title design very soon here.

Awesome video! So my question is which version was the replica that I got in 2002 modeled after? It seems to be a lot like Version 2, but it does not seem to be so overwhelming in size.

If it has a black outline it's the V2. If the plates don't have a black outline it's the V1.

In it's 4 years, it's been held by Triple H, Chris Jericho, The Rock, Undertaker, Brock Lesnar, Kurt Angle, Eddie Gurero, JBL

Still think that WWE should have brought it back at No Mercy 2007. Whether it's the belt that Orton is awarded by Vince & Regal in the ceremony at the beginning of the PPV or HHH (as the inaugural person to have that championship) reintroduces it for his title match with Umaga.

The best belt and era and a shame it turned into spinner belt permanently.

Nice video @HazardF5 so I just found this belt at a pawn shop and bought it. But I'm not sure what version I have. I can't find anything online on it. It's the Undisputed belt. But the main plate has the WW logo. But says World Wrestling Federation under it. Not Entertainment. And no name tag under Champion. And weights about 10 to 15 lbs. Could you help me figure out what version it is?

Did all versions with logo tooling include the Crafted by J-Mar text, or just the WWF v1-1.5? Can you also comment on any variation of how red paint was used in the scratch logo swooshes on the main and side plates?

Yes, all versions had the jmar text tooling. Red paint was used on all of the WWF/WWE logos on the belts (which is partially why it's not mentioned) although it's harder to make out on the V1 main plate compared to the others as the swoosh art is different to the WWE logo's one.

Its a hybrid of the classic IC belt and classic WORLD TAG TEAM belt.

The real crime was the spinner. Honestly. It was cute for a while, it was then just.... pus. It was an infecion

Although I had fond memories of the Big Gold and Winged Eagle, the WWE undisputed Title was the best World title variant.

My 3rd favorite wrestling belt of all time.

My second favorite belt design for the WWE title. I either forgot that they had a larger version for a time but yeah, to me my main complaint was that it was small.

I preferred this over the toy championship with the word Champ in the front. That title was made for cena and i was surprised that once cena dropped it they didnt go back to this badboy.

I've always wondered if the Kurt Angle belt that Bishoff had was from Kurt's personal collection. I know a lot of wrestlers buy belts from JMAR as trophy items. They probably told him to bring it to TV for the storyline. There's a photo out there of Rhonda Rousey with the rock's undisputed belt and it's almost identical in size and tooling to that belt Bischoff was holding.

This belt was the LAST WWF belt and the 1st WWE belt at the same time

This belt is how I remember WWE. This was at the prime of my childhood and I HATED when the spinner belt came out.

It's crazy cause I never remember HHH having that Belt I think I started watching Westling when it was exclusive to SD so this is pretty cool

I ❤ the V1 Undisputed Title !!! I wish they still had it instead of these lame ass WWE logo belts, talk about a step down in quality. Still it is 1 of the best looking belt ever made , in my top 5 along with The Winged Eagle,The Big Gold, IWGP 🌎 Heavyweight Title, & AEW 🌎 Title Belt IMO.

The WWE shop states that the deluxe belt comes on top grain leather, with ten Swarovski Crystals, if so, that would save me having to re-leather, and re-stoning the cheaper belt. Avoid. Their belts have NEVER has proper leather apar from the Authenic TV Big Logo belts that cost 5K made by Wildcat. Save money and but the standard replica and have it restoned and releathered. You'll save yourself hundreds

Just an idea if your looking for content Hazard. Do a video on each major company. WWE-F, NXT, TNA-Impact, ROH and which others you know a lot about their belts. Wherein you take a look at all the variants of their various championships quickly and put together their Best belt set based on the historically available variants. For example NXT I’d revert back to the OG NXT men’s and Woman’s belts and keep the current North American and tags. ROH OG pure, Sinclair takeover era world, v2 tv, current tags and OG six men and WOh. It’d be interesting to see what you feel each companies Best Of set would be.

I have the Ultra Deluxe replica version 2 and the latest replica with the 6mm plates. I think the Ultra Deluxe very unique. On the 6mm plates belt I didn't like to see the side plate with missing letters of the word "Entertainment". I'm not sure it was like this in the latest belts on TV although I understand it's J-MAR signature but probably it is only on replicas.

Do you know if the V1 tooling along the edges of the strap say "WWF" or "WWF champion" on TV? It's hard to tell watching old videos.

I love this design I was so upset that the V1 replica was a WWE belt. I did have a question. Is the V2 and V3 the same belt? I understand they changed the strap but aren't those the same plates?

Yes the plates were the ones used for the V2, with the strap chopped and snapped differently, while a new one was being made that had similar strap style with smaller plates
