Ecw had the best tag titles ever

Boy, is my face red for not seeing the six sides on the second version of the X-Division belt. Totally in agreement that the Women's Championship is in need of an update. Speaking of the World Heavyweight title, the first version (after breaking away from NWA) looked like a clone of the IWGP Heavyweight Championship. The only thing I liked about it was how it had the word "WORLD" on it, which the latest TNA World Heavyweight belt doesn't have. That being said, I like how the current design has an immediate recognition as a TNA title from afar, and the fact that the center plate is reminiscent of the Big Gold Belt is a boon in itself. Aside note, when the strap length was brought up, I immediately thought of Bobby Roode's run with the title. His entrance always showed the camera behind him and from the looks of it, he had to really tighten up the belt, lest it slides off!

Glad to see some of my TNA belt pics get love, great vid Shane. The NWA DG used during the NWA / TNA was orginally a J - MAR NWA DG that was refurbished and fixed up by Dave. I posted some pics on BT of the J-MAR DG and also the fixed up DG by Dave but I have alot more

they spend 300 days a year away from their families to entertain a worldwide audience. They have bigger things on their minds than a belt's condition

They were originally intended to be the TNA world title design until TNA saw a custom belt Dave Millican did for a collector and asked him to adapt it to fit their needs?

I've always liked TNAs current world title much more than WWE's. WWE's just feels like an advertisement when I look at it, its just a big logo.

At 13:22 i like that belt design which looks nice. At 19:12 looks a bit like the Big Gold belt with a shark's teeth design on the face plate where it has a bit of the 'IWGP' Japanese world heavy weight championship title belt vibe to it, which looks nice as well. I like the design as well too. Nice review.

got it off a "history of belt design" web page a few months back, it's also been floating around belt talk for a couple of years.

You gotta admit… even if they weren’t always the best company booking wise… TNA has always had some sick lookin belts; whether that be the numerous X Division titles, the OG TNA World Title, their version of the Big Gold belt, or the Knockouts title, they certainly have some amazing designs. My personal favorite was always the Tag Team titles. Seriously, they could pass as a Mid Card championship in another company, that’s how good the design was.

First TNA World Heavyweight belt was so beautiful.

How come when Samoa Joe first won the TV title the old tna world title replica was used?

And there was also a white strap version of Jeff Hardy's World Heavyweight Championship. Don't forget that one.

can you please do the history of the NWA-WCW Television Title. I haven't been able to find a ton of information on this belt and was hoping you could give me some new insights.

My dad came up with the idea of of the tna knockouts tag team titles. he and Jeremy Borash talked with each other and that how the titles got on the show. a shame my dad didn't receive the credit.

Why is it bullshit? I went with my dad to a TNA event and my dad talked with Borash after the show and suggested the idea to him. Besides at the time there was a lot of knockouts and clearly there were enough tag teams to have the TNA Knockouts tag team tourney. You should be grateful that they suggested his idea otherwise we be waiting for a long time.#YourWelcome

I could show you his twitter or facebook post to Borash but he only adds people he knows and he hasn't been on facebook for a while so thats my only proof other that i can actually get my dad to personally tell you himself if he has time of coarse.

i wish tna would do more replica belts. yes they had the 2 world belts but i would think the x and tag are a most wanted item by collectors

divas title has only had one belt and it means nothing

+Hazardf5, I did like the knockout's championship, even though it didn't have the word "Knockout" anywhere on the championship belt, but they could've had the word Knockout on there like this, Knock above TNA Out below TNA. If y'all know wat I mean.

Damn, TNA have had a lot of good titles. Really weird considering how ugly the impact tag titles are. The current impact title looks pretty good but I don’t like the amount of red on it.
