Thank you! My husband is a musician, but he's also a graduate chemistry student. So, most of his equipment has been in storage. He saw me struggling and found his condensor microphone and let me use it. I can't believe the difference. I appreciate all the help and advice, it really helped me out.

Funny enough. A bigger and taller version of the hat was a common headgear for the nobles and royalties of Iran during the Sassanid era. Sometimes, even the emperor (Shahanshah) granted those of the "to come of status" the hats in order to make their positions officially recognised by the court.
