Wow! Thank you, thank you, thank you for making this visual model of Jerusalem's history. It made the Bible come alive, being able to see the actual topography and buildings. I always just had to use my imagination, which was based on "nothing" and try to visualize what and where things were happening in Bible stories. I have never visited this land or Jerusalem, so this really helped to see what it is like. It helped me so much to see what it was like during the different time periods. Your work is amazing. I know you worked very hard on this to make it as accurate as possible. It made the Bible come alive.

As a child I love to study, before I could read. I looked at the maps in the Bible. I would like to see all the maps in this video on paper on the table so I can study them. Lol I always wondered why God put His chosen people in the desert In places it seemed like a hard place to live. Sand, rock, hot, dry. And I wondered how they came by the yards and yards of fabric for the clothes and especially tents. It is amazing how people lived back then. And then to have the Jewish peoples coming back. To have God's chosen finally realizing Yeshua, Jesus is the true living son of God. I have been praising the Lord more lately as I spend time with you. Thank you!

Great film, but I would like to ask that the so-called "second location of Golgotha", shown in the film as the "First possible location of Golgotha", be removed from it. It seems as credible as the second proposed location of the Jerusalem temple. Why create confusion... and bring up something that is contrary to centuries of Christian tradition.

Very beautiful and with a lot of effort. The over all historical overview is helpful as is the historical structural elements. However, the presentation of the Temple Mount ignores key topographical elements presented by Josephus who was an eye witness writing to important eye witnesses ... Emperor Titus and the ruler of the Palestine region. So, Josephus could not exaggerate and get away with it. He describes Mount Moriah as a high hill which is backed up by his description of the Temple Mount which is specifically described as having a 600 foot high Eastern retaining wall reaching down to the Kidron valley floor (450 ft showing above ground and 150 feet buried beneath 1000 years of land fill in the Kidron valley.). So, with this information, the Kidron valley was 600 ft deep and canyon like. The canyon walls were so steep that the City of David's Jebusite walls could not be scaled or breached and were too high for slinging a rope over. This is why David had a man go up the water gutter, in order to get up and into the city, so the gate could be opened. Further proof of the steepness and highness of Mount Moriah is that Abraham had to leave the donkey behind, with his son Isaac taking the wood up on his back, because of the steepness of the ascent. Today, the Kidron valley has about 400 feet of land fill and the Treopeon valley is nearly fully filled in, as it was probably at least 200 feet less deep than the Kidron valley and probably rose with a steeper incline as it went behind the City of David and the Temple Mount between the slopes and hill we call Mt Zion today. The T.M. is described as 600 by 600 feet square and 600 by 1200 feet if you include the Tower of Antonia. The Tower of Antonia was situated on the NW corner of the Temple Mount SEPARATATED by SPACE of 100 to 200 feet. It had a SINGLE connecting cloister walkway which BRANCHED off into two entry points to the T.M., one on the West, close to the place where the inner court wall met with the West Temple Mount cloister, and a second entry point which entered somewhere on the north side into the North cloister. The space between the Tower of Antonia and the Temple Mount had to be large enough for two seige ramps raised up against the North T.M. wall. The Tower of Antonia had to be about about 500 ft square or 400 by 500 or 400 by 600 with enough room for multi-story castle like rooms plus at least 3 large open spaces, the largest of which was probably the size of a football field for tents and for activities. Based on the cisterns on the Temple Mount and based on Josephus' descriptions, the Tower of Antonia was probably in the raised platform area of The Dome of the Rock. The structure farther north which blocked the view of the Temple from that part of the North, was Herod's North Fortress situated on the Bezeda 4th hill connected to his gardens and to the Tower of Antonia by cloisters which were burnt down early in the conflict. A man made valley or moat was situated between Herod's Fortress and the Tower of Antonia. Herod's Fortress was protected by the inner city wall, so that Titus had to approach Fort Antonia by going past Herod's fort to the East. However, Titus could not bypass the Tower of Antonia, for it guarded the way to the T.M. and the T.M. guarded the way to the inner city area with the biggest strongest walls. The T.M. had to be situated 300 feet to the East of what is called the WESTERN WALL today. Proof of this is that Titus also erected two seige ramps against the West side of the Temple Mount before he had access to the inner city, which was on the other side of the Western Wall. With the 600 by 600 ft T.M. somewhere on the SE corner of today's Temple Mount, the cisterns line up correctly as does the aqueduct. I am almost done making a Lego model of the City of David, the T.M. proposal and well as today's T.M. and of the Fort Antonia and of the original terrain, the canyon like valley's and Mt Moriah. Josephus says that the natural hill top of Mt Moriah barely had space for Solomon's Temple and the altar. Josephus had access to the records room and to witnesses who were the builders for Herod, so he could corraborate what he could see with what was the history of the terrain. He also relied on the Bible in a non contradictory fashion.
