Biafra is well known to those of us who were alive at the time. It was the first time I saw images of famine and young children the same age as me starving
Max Yasgur is a diabolical zonk, I love it.
I’ve watched many many episodes of Pointless and this is without a doubt the most ignorant group of contestants I’ve seen.
I honestly didn't knw about Jose Peterson and Ithought I could name all the characters of Peanuts
It was like watching a bunch of chimps trying to solve the Times crossword
Who is Jose Peterson in Peanuts?
I get they aren't American and don't have the best knowledge of the states, but Dallas? Tallahassee????
Brits know nothing about the Peanuts comic strip apparently.
How could someone have never heard of The Peanuts? And how was Charlie Brown only 52 points when he's literally the MAIN CHARACTER.

They asked Brits, not Americans. Also, the comic strip is no longer is made.

@@vdoggydogg3922 The Peanuts is famous worldwide. According to Google it was syndicated in 75 countries and translated into 21 languages. There's no way people in the UK haven't heard of it.

@MatthewNY94 more popular in the usa for sure. Can guarantee they don't play the tv specials that much outside of the usa. That is how most people would remember the names.

We knew of them in the 60s and on in New Zealand and Australia. Why not the Brits? We knew them well as kids. I think maybe they're too young? Or their parents didn't tell them about them. It's hard to fathom.

If they asked for Charlie Brown characters, the numbers would have been higher but a lot of people don't know that the comic strip is called Peanuts, especially the younger generation.
Jake is a snack 🤤
Can I point out Richard to say it was Ferdinand who did these things was sexist. A lot of historians think Isabella was the senior partner in their joint reign, not Ferdinand.
Another stupid choice of final topic. Surely wildlife you can just guess animals. Media is way too obscure.
