Springboro Ohio is celebrating their 200th birthday. Forget Me Not Dance Company offers this Civil War era dance demonstration, giving citizens a glimpse into their hometown's past.

    Very interesting + useful to inform people of their history. However, why not use forward hands facing down position at waist level--- which seemed to be most common 19th c. hand hold ( still used at start of a song/dance in 1920s 30s Lindy hop.

    Spanish.Waltzsounds familiar but from Mexico? Hut it is claimed to be from. an Italian composer writing about German speaking part of Switzerland??
