SC key players didn’t have the best shooting day as well as Watkins and Faegin both getting in foul trouble early. It’s a game, things happen momentum changes, and nonetheless this was a sellout crowd on the road that we came out victorious with😊

Yes this Gamecock team showed growth and maturity. I hear about how other teams are young but they forget SC is a very young team still learning to play better each game. This gamecock team is not loaded with veteran starters. I don't think this Gamecock team has peaked. LSU will learn from this.

Absolutely I was worried for a minute, but slowly but surely they found their groove, and made some huge shots.

Hailey Van Lith and Flaujae should switch roles! Hailey shouldn’t be running the offense/bringing the ball down. She should focus on shooting! I think they will be a much better team with that switch.

LSU had a GREAT night offensively, everybody got their points even though it wasn’t a high scoring game. it really came down to discipline and coaching down the stretch and SC was just the better coached/prepared team without question.

My younger brother watched parts of the game (he ordered gen. admission tickets for the women's Iowa@Maryland B1G conf. tilt on Saturday, Feb. 3, 2024 for no reason other than the opportunity to see Caitlin Clark play) and wondered what did Angel Reese go and acknowledge the crowd just after the game ended like she was leaving the court with some moral victory of some sort, she lost the game!!!!!!!!!! She's winless against South Carolina and coach Staley! ! ! And coach Staley lost in her teams only meeting ever against Caitlin Clark! Although that should be another matter entirely.

Way to come back and take the win!! Great game.. Go Gamecocks!!!

Yeah, she's pretty good at finding her teammates on the perimeter. That particular one though, was a game changer! She could've tried to go back up with it. Which I wish she did more of actually. But if she missed, and/or gotten fouled, she's not very good at the line. Hall not hitting that 3, would have potentially changed the outcome of the game.

This was a high intensity women's game. Suspect we'll see a rematch at some point of this season.

If you actually check the stats SC outscored lsu in every quarter but the first lol that’s why SC was still in the game throughout. It looked like LSU was winning every quarter because they took the first punch in the first quarter. LSU is not the only team that led after a quarter..North Carolina led after the first quarter against SC as well. Thats why SC knew how to come back in the game because they experienced it before.

I called this entire game. South Carolina has the best in women's basketball team and their bench is deep. LSU played a good game, but AR was winded and sometimes wouldn't run down the court, she made lazy fouls because she was tired. This was an excellent game. Lady Gamecocks still undefeated.

Can I just say that I'm really impressed with how far women's basketball has come? When I was in undergrad at South Carolina I was in the band so I went to a lot of games, and the building was almost empty for women's games. And in graduate school at LSU, they hung a huge curtain on one side of the PMAC when the women played so it wouldn't feel quite so empty. Now the women are playing in front of raucous sellout crowds in prime time on ESPN. Glad to see them finally getting a following to rival the men.

The POISE of S.C. 😮! This was an excellent match-up! A team with 28 straight road wins vs a team with 29 straight HOME wins. A demoralizing loss for LSU because they were at HOME and played extremely well. But oh the poise of S.C. Wow.😮😮

I enjoy the NBA and NFL. But games like this I do recognize. Observations: Coach Mulky died 1000 deaths on the sidelines. The fans were just off the richter scale, intense. Cordoso kept blocking Angel’s shot and smiled at Reese each time. They battled. There were a lot of blocked shots in the game. Energy and intensity of players, fans and mulky was off the charts. Staly and Mulky two great coaches. Overall, both teams engaged in physical battles, bodies colliding and crashing. Reese, fouled out. Questionable calls??? Carolina managed clock and time outs very good. Conclusion: Carolina is a well disciplined and methodical team. They reflect the cool, calm and patient Dawn Staly. Hung around and waited till last minutes to steal game. So obvious what she and they were doing and did it. Cannot wait for rematch. Fantastic game on a Saturday night.

I see it as being more about the announcers absorbing the crowd atmosphere at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center in Baton Rouge and nothing more, what would you have had the announcers do (Ryan Ruocco and Rebecca Lobo), would you have them announcing the game the way that a poker championship or a spelling bee championship would be announced?!?!?!?

Not the best from SC but they all just all around an amazing team. Between teamwork, great coaching, respect & knowing how to run the ball and straight up Humble… way to go gamecocks . Fought till the very end 💪

Angel Reese is not ovverrated ya'll hating. Morrow a dawg in ya'll will see that later too. MK is only a freshman who is going to get better. Flaujae is an amazing player without her there would be no LSU. Haliey is an amazing player, but she is still adjusting as point, but I do think if she play SG LSU would win by way more.

This was one of the best match ups this year.. intense game. 👊🏾
