I'm 46 yrs old. Dr Stanley has deepened my understanding of Jesus and the Bible greater than anyone...he was true.

As a little girl, I would hug Charles Stanley on my grandmother’s tv, pretending he was my father. The last time I hugged my laptop crying on his shoulder as he preached, I was fully 40 years old. It was my dream to meet him in person. Now it will have to wait till eternity. Dr. Charles Stanley, you have meant more to me than you will ever know. Can’t wait to see you on the other side.

Me too. Have cried at some point every day since he went home. It's painful to be here without him. , even though his voice will never be silenced. Even if it was, it would play on in my head. I haven't been so heartbroken over a person's death since my oldest sibling was killed in a motorcycle accident 42 yrs ago. I couldn't think his name without crying.. Took me 5 yrs to get past the loss. I will never be the soldiers these two were to me, but they both inspired me to try. They are connected in my heart somehow. Men who were obedient to the Lord no matter the cost. God had now taken home all my mentors except Dr Jeremiah. Dr Rogers, Dr McGee, Chuck Mitzler, Dr Sproul all gone home in such a short period. There are new soldiers replacing them, but I have spent almost half my life following him and the contributors to In Touch, Daily Bread, and Turning Point. Before that it was Billy G and Dr McGee on the radio and the contributors to the radio broadcast of KCCV and is now BRN Rabio or BOTT. God is going to embrace these giants of the faith and we will be witness to their faith edifying ours. Can't wait to see them all again and the ones that follow. All those that knew and loved him, I loved, Louie G, Ray C. etc. May God raise up those who He is blessing to be the next warriors until he calls us all home. We are all a part of the big C church of the bride of Christ because of them. The brick and mortar are great but there's just something about knowing we are much more than that. We are God's family. Love binds us together. His Love.

I was homeless and addicted and I found Dr. Stanley and listened to him on my phone every day . . . He brought me into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and taught me so much about obedience. That was over 3 years ago and I am still sober, working full time, and in college working on my degree in counseling. Most importantly . . . my Lord and Savior is Jesus Christ. I got divorced in 2011, and in desperation, I turned on the radio and scanned until I heard his calm and peaceful voice. He was the first pastor I ever listened to on the radio, and opened the door to a new journey for me. Now Christian radio is ALL that plays in my vehicle. I'm so grateful God blessed me with his message. Just a peaceful voice, and he could hold me accountable for my actions without being loud or aggressive, or judgmental. I'm sad he is gone, but I'm so happy he is home.

I was a new born again Christian! When I first time I watch Dr. Charles Stanley sermon in 700 club. Every 7am Philippines time. Through GMA television. God moves in mysterious ways! I’m so bless and my Spiritual life grow! God used Dr. Charles Stanley! A blessing to my life!

I remember my mom watching him a lot when I was a kid. My mom was a true believer and doer of the word of God, and impacted me on a deep level. I strayed away from God for awhile and I was lost. No matter how far I got, Jesus came and saved me from going to hell. I do believe the word of God is life for us and goes out into the world. I decided to love for Jesus everyday. To give God everything in me to be closer to him and form a relationship with him. I’m so thankful for the influence over my life. I will keep living for Jesus until my last breath.

My husband was raised in the Catholic Church, he always had a hard time with second baptism, until he heard dr. Stanley share his heart on that subject. My husband was re-baptized in the name of the father son and the holy spirit amen. Dancing heaven, as we will be seeing you. Glory be to Jesus Christ our God 🙏

My dad didn’t want me or my sister. I thought about him as my substitute dad. I am 66 and have listened to him for many years. I didn’t cry when my dad died, but have cried so much about Dr Stanley. I know he is in the presence of God and that is great joy. My heart is sad but I will continue to listen to him every day. Even though I never met him, thank you Dr Stanley for being a wonderful caring man of God.

My siblings and I also experienced childhood neglect and rejection. Please listen to Pastor Charles Stanley’s sermons on rejection. When we listened to it individually, each of us bawled, crying so hard because of his healing and anointed sermon. I’ve ordered several copies to give to hurting folks.❤️🙏

I asked God I need to know you are real. The next nite s boy put. Charles Stanley on the t.v. in front of me while I was eating. Next young girl had him pm t.v. and he was preaching the cross which hit me like a brick. God just kept using him to grow me up in walking with God💝

I cannot express how instrumental that Dr. Stanley was to me when I first turned my life to Christ. My only regret is that I never travelled to FBA to see him preach in person. Thank you, Dr. Stanley, for your obedience to God as you've helped countless others turn to Christ.

Because of your obedience, Dr.Stanley, you are now in your heavenly home,with our heavenly father. Rest in peace! 🙏

I watched Dr Stanley every Sunday morning on TV. The day he didn't show up,I was wondering what was wrong. As I find his passing, I rejoice knowing he achieved eternal life 🧬 what a man? Fly high Dr Stanley you are my role model to achieve mine. What an amazing Man!!!

Dr. Stanley has been a mentor for me for at least 35 yrs. I listened to his teaching almost every week on television since I was a teenager. When I lived in ATL I attended his church. I have always admired him and learned so much from his teaching. He was always the same, focused on the Gospel, sincere, with impeccable Christian character. I love him and still listen to his sermons every Sunday. He was a General in the Army of the Lord ✝️🕊️❤️

This is tough. I sent him a message a week and a half before his death thanking him. I’ve been a doctorate student and would listen to him daily for years. I graduated this week and so did my spiritual Grandfather Dr. Stanley. Hopefully you read the message. Anyway thank you for preaching and believing what you preached. Also that anyone can come and receive Christ’s grace and forgiveness. Love from China. My wife and I are heartbroken but you deserve your reward❤.

I was saved 10 years ago ... the first preacher, the first bible teacher, the first true Christian, the first comforting humble person God sent me, to know that this faith was real, my salvation was real and God was real ... God SENT ME to the teaching of Dr. Charles Stanley via radio and then TV sermons ... I remember seeing and listening to Dr. Stanley for the first time: 1 hour tv sermon ... never lost attention! Dr. Stanley had this godly presence of trust, comfort, peace, truth, kindness, boldness, but above all , I knew he was different and something brought me closer to want to know more of God and him ... Dr. Charles Stanley taught me how to 1) PRAY and to 2) have an INTIMATE relationship with God. Something I NEVER thought about and was foreign to me. I did as he told and I felt God speak to me, the most magnificent and precious experience of my life. In my years as a Christian, I have battled the devil, the world and my fleshly desires... I lost at times and drifted many times ... I felt like I was the worst Christian on the planet for drifting and sinning ... but God NEVER gave up on me , God knew what I needed to hear to bring me back ... God made a way for me to hear or watch Dr. Stanley's sermons somehow... ALL I NEEDED TO HEAR was Dr. Stanley's voice and I felt ashamed yet encouraged to come back to the faith, that God was waiting for me. If I may say it, Dr. Stanley was like godly father/grandfather on earth who always knew what to say to encourage me. My personal pastor if you will. My favorite quote from him and God is "Whatever you accomplish in life, you will accomplish on your knees, not by talents, education or power, but by placing your TRUST in me." Proverbs 3:5,6 summons it all. My life truly matters to God. Dr. Charles F. Stanley was, is and will be a special person whom I never met in person, but had an enormous impact in my life. Thanks to him I will do my best, look my best and be my best to do God's will for my life. He was truly a man of God, lived a godly life, obeyed God and left all the consequences to Him, and now he gets to reap what he sowed ... talk to his father, mother and grandfather ... but especially meet his savior Jesus Christ and will be eternally secured. I hope to see him one day in Heaven and thank him for everything he did for me and my family. RIP Dr. Charles Stanley and God bless his family, every believer and everyone who read this.

More than 30 years ago in Atlanta I met Dr. Stanley at an Office Depot store I was working in (FBA was still downtown and they hadn't moved to Dunwoody then). He was looking for a particular ink refill for a Parker pen. At first I didn't realize who he was until he looked at me and spoke. Our exchange was very pleasant. He was very gracious and thanked me. He shook my hand and personally invited me to come to church Sunday morning. I didn't go that next Sunday but I did go at various other Sundays. I always felt honored to have met him, casually engaging about pens and pen refills as we did.

When I heard that Charles Stanley passed away, I felt the absence of a wonderful, large presence. His sermons have encouraged me through many nights. God speed Dr. Charles Stanley. Your rewards will be great.

I first heard Dr. Charles Stanley preach many years ago while scanning through channels. I was immediately captivated by his message, and I knew then that this man had a special connection with God. I watched every week, bought his tapes, and books! One of Dr. Stanley's sermons contained more than most pastors say in one year. A true man of God!

I used to listen to Dr Stanley’s sermons when I was living in Uganda. He was on television every Sunday from from 4-5 pm. I can say that his teachings have influenced my Christian life. I used to call him my spiritual dad. I am forever grateful for his life. What a great legacy He has left!!

Dr Charles Stanley’s goal to spread God’s to the world was a success. I am from the Philippines and I am 50 years old now and as far as I can remember, I have always watched “In Touch Ministry” on TV and whenever I listen to Dr. Charles Stanley preach, my heart is moved and i know the Holy Spirit has changed me and has used the good pastor to teach me and my family how to continue to live our lives according to God’s will. My entire family has been greatly influenced by the pastor’s faith and we will miss Dr. Charles Stanley. After watching this tribute, i didnt realize i have the same birthday as Dr. Stanley. I will celebrate his legacy from now on every year that I celebrate my birthday.

My momma listened to him. When she passed, I had the honor of seeing all her VHS tapes and notebooks filled with Dr. Stanley's messages. I went on to listen to his sermons also. He will be missed, but I know heaven is rejoicing. ❤️

Nora, Thank you for your comment. I have a kazillion VHS tapes, DVDs, CDs, and many Notebooks filled with Sunday's sermon outlines. Maybe someday my children will look at them and read my Notebooks. Very appreciative of this beautiful tribute to the first TV pastor I have had since 1997. I was blessed to support Dr. Stanley's treasured Beta, VCD,and DVDs to share as a Bible teacher at church and in prison for 22 years in a province of China. I'll forever be grateful for showing us, "Obey God and leave all the consequences to Him."

I'm 46 now, I've always Called Charles Stanley just "Stanley " Cause one of my Grandmother's always had him on the TV 1983 to be exact. Application Preacher with❤ along with it. HUGE HEART.

We were blessed to have him in this world, such a kind, gentle,and obedient spirit. We should all strive to have a spirit like Jesus, like Dr. Stanley did while he was here.

I was really lost in life and came a cross a video of Dr.Charles that really hit me inside to kneel down before God...Thank you Dr. Charles for saving my soul..and know how deep God's love for us who paid our sins on that cross..Sorry Jesus for my sins and thank you for your mercy and grace for us...thank you for using Dr Charles to change my life....

Please keep his legacy alive and keep broadcasting him on radio and tv! Also, KZread, put him on Tick Tok as well. The world needs his amazing messages of Jesus. The younger generations need him. He has taught me how to pray.

I first heard his sermon when I was in Japan because we were station there. I couldn’t stop listening to him and watched him every Sunday. God gave us someone who spread the words and help us when we needed it most. Dr. Charles Stanley you will be miss. R.I.P.

Charles Stanley was only a vessel preaching the gospel of christ so others like yourself who are so wrapped up into trolling others and trying to hurt others do to your own issues deep in your soul, for ones like you and like me and for all to have eternal life in heaven and have eternal life getting to know your creator....you got free will to reject God in flesh and Gods only begotten son yeshua jesus. And have free will to accept jesus as lord... times short with what's coming imminently to the world here you love soo much. Hopefully you'll accept jesus as lord before late.... enjoy your day

@@peterxuereb9884 He does what Pastor Stanley spent his whole life teaching us; go to the Word of God, pick out a Scripture and speak it to your Heavenly Father. God, the Lord Jesus is our ultimate Helper in times of trouble. Pastor would say, “Obey God, and leave the consequences to Him.”

Rest in peace Dr Stanley. Thank you for all you taught us. Enjoy being home now: we will see you soon!

Sunday 11-19-23 watching Dr. Charles Stanley as I often do a man of God ,teaching the word of God ,decided to look up his age,and much to my surprise I learned of his passing!🙏Do not, ever stop showing his sermons, please! He helped keep me grounded and focused on God. Made me think!Thankyou for this man Lord! I know he brought many to know God!God may he rest in peace!

What a man of God… how lucky are the Stanley’s to be a part of his legacy. He will be missed.

Thank you so much to my dearest Pastor and spiritual mentor Dr. Charles Stanley! You don't know me personally but you have made a huge impact in my life since I was young until this very moment, I had a personal relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ because of your preachings of His Words that really touches my heart and soul to the very core of my being. You are indeed a man of God and a spiritual father and mentor to millions of people whom you have touch their lives by your ministry. You will be deeply miss here on earth, but we all know that you are with our Heavenly Father now, for you have been faithful servant in all of your lifetime, I can imagine the joy and happiness you have now when you step into eternity with our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

That was a wonderful tribute to Dr. Stanley. I never knew all the churches he had served in before. It was hard seeing a memorial posted when I turned on my morning in touch radio program last Tuesday. Thank you for sharing the repose today at the church, the roses were beautiful. You have honored Dr. Stanley by sharing your dedication to the Lord in conveying his message to trust in Jesus. God bless you all

Even his voice was anointed,he was like a father to me and when he spoke i listened.

I just wanted to say I never met the man but I sure wish I would have and I found him about 12 years ago and a very hard time of my life and I really cried for someone. I never met the almost feel like he was family. I wonder sometimes if he only knew how many people's lives that he Impacted by his preaching don't ever be another one like him. Now hes in heaven with the Lord and his love ones you will be missed very very much. I wish I could have met you and you were loved very much even by people who. Never knew you just buy your family find strength to get through this and your Friends.

His sermon on the prodigal son is one of the most powerful I've ever heard. I'll never forget it. RIP

Years ago I would listened to Dr. Charles Stanley every morning, on the radio, as I drove my children to school. His sermons deeply touched me. Many times I would find myself crying. This was at a time in my life that I was going through so much pain. Listening to his sermons gave me hope and strength. He would speak to me every time through his messages. Today I still love listening to his sermons. They teach, comfort, and inspire me. He will be greatly missed.

I know I shouldn't get emotional and My Pastor went Home to our Lord and Savior and I'm looking forward to seeing him again and I don't think there's going to be another pastor that could hold a candle to Dr Charles F Stanley. And I will be watching and listening to His sermons until the day I go to home 🙏🙏

Dr. Charles Stanley was a true messenger of the Word of God. He taught the Word of God explaining the meaning and how to apply this to your life. Thanks, Dr. Stanley. You were Hooah!😊

America has been so blessed to have had such a wonderful preacher. I wish we here in Britain could have a Minister so dynamic as Dr. Stanley then there would be no more churches closing!

Another faithful servant of God gone home to rest and be happy with our savior Jesus Christ. So many souls saved through the preachings of Pastor Stanley for the glory of God our Father. His mother taught him to lean on God and never lose faith no matter what. We love you pastor Charles Stanley.

What a life well lived!! I'm so thankful for how Jesus used Dr Stanley in my own life. I can't begin to tell how his service to our Lord has impacted my life. Truly, Dr Stanley did obey our Savior and left all of the consequences to Him!!❤

Charles Stanley is worthy to be honored. I probably have heard every sermon at least once. He was a God sent in my life. Ever since 1996 . His sermons always helped me get through some of the worst storms in my life. I listen b4 bed for I don't know how many years Charles Stanley radio. I'm very greatful for him. I guess in heave he needs a whole room for his crowns and I know Jesus say we'll done good and faithful child I always said he's right there with Billy Graham. Billy helped bring people to Jesus as Charles did to but Doctor Stanley teach us how to live for Jesus. I pray God is raising more up like him for the world needs more preachers like him. Thank you God for Doctor Charles Stanley.Amen plz give his children peace at this time.

Thanks Dr Charles Stanley, God used you to be part of my Christian’s journey, so thankful to God, and you. Will see you in God’s Kingdom, and will say thanks to you in person.

Dr. Stanley was the first pastor I listened to after I surrendered my life to Jesus in 1990. I felt as if I finally had a father that cared enough to tell me the truth. I thank Dr. Stanley for pointing me to Jesus who is worthy of all glory honor and praise. What a privilege to be able to listen to those precious messages to trust God and leave all the consequences to Him.

He lived his life: "Obey God and leave consequences to Him"

Thank you Dr. Charles Stanley, thank you for sharing your love of God's Word with me, I was encouraged every day not to give up on Jesus because of the words you reminded me of...words written in God's Word...I will miss you ..until that glorious day ..

I LOVED Dr. Stanley in the Lord..His sermons and devotionals have ministered to me so many times! One particular sermon literally stopped me from going down a path that I shouldn't have gone. I have pages of his devotionals stuffed in my Bible. I grieved when I heard of his passing..I always wanted to meet him, but never did. . To thank him for his ministry, and tell him how much the Lord had ministered to me through him..but thanks to our precious heavenly Father..I will get to meet him some day...❤❤❤

He was God's general and preached the word with so much power. Rest in power Dr Charles, we will meet again in faith.

While I never met him I’m very grateful he gave me the opportunity to share my story through in touch ministries!!

I stumbled on this today I remember when I heard him preach for the first time, I Believe God arranged this to be a thing to bring me closer to God, I'm stronger now in Crist because he helped me to understand Why I need a Savior, Amen

To God be the glory, my husband and I can relate. My husband is a Pastor and this has been sooooo POWERFUL. I have been in tears watching, this video has been so inspiring and has uplifted me in so many ways. Our God is amazing and knows what we need, exactly when we need and how to deliver. Thank God for the life of Charles Stanley who to me was a man after God's own heart and that's how I will remember him. God has used him to inspire me through his a daily devotions and preachings.

God is great with all of us He is using us today, we have to continue the great and wonderful work as a Christian we have to do our part and leaves the pure legacy for those that come after us. I loved fatherly Charles Stanley and his Biblical teaching! I would listen to him on Sunday mornings while getting ready for church, which was also a Bible-teaching ministry. The world lost a great man with knowledge of the word and a trusting faith in God. 📖 ✝️
