'His Therapists Are Too Scared To Tell Him The Truth' Psychiatrist analyses Prince Harry's book

Prince Harry's therapists are 'too scared' to tell him the truth and he is suffering from a feeling of discrimination in his sibling rivalry, says Psychiatrist Dr Raj Persaud .
He says Prince Harry is feeling 'very unfairly treated' by the world in general and that Prince Harry's 'birth order' would be have impacted his personality his whole life.
Dr Persaud says that Prince Harry's major rebellion against the Royal Family could be down to his birth order and that as the younger sibling he is naturally disposed to causing trouble.
In discussing a number of psychological theories, Dr Persaud says Prince Harry could be 'over-therapised' and could also be suffering from the 'comparison theory' where he is always comparing himself to Prince William and his older brother due to become the King.

In the Cooper interview clip that was shown here at 14:25, Harry himself says “in the last six years” his relationship with William has been strained. Is he so stupid that he doesn’t notice who showed up six years ago? The thing no one has ever told Harry is that siblings fight & squabble in nearly every single family in the world. Older brothers tell younger siblings not to talk to them at school. Harry needs to watch some episodes of “The Middle” and see how family dynamics work in the real world in the US particularly. 😂 He might just learn a little something!

It’s also ironic that he wants to have discussions that are “private” but yet he’s the one spreading conversations and private matters all over the planet. I don’t understand how in the world he keeps his “chief impact officer” position at BetterUp when he is obviously unstable. If BetterUp can’t help their own “employee” how do they help others? Harry’s new buzzword is “accountability” but he only wants to hold others accountable. Not himself.

    @sarahm9723

    Ай бұрын

@emilystephens4581 I'm not British, I'm American (born in Cuba, to be specific!), but here's what I see: Harry met a completely unsuitable, classless female lacking any social graces, who is of half black & half white background. Being very ambitious to climb, but not having any natural talents, she used her black half side to get acting jobs by proclaiming that she met the requirements of DEI and affirmative action. In her personal life, she hates her white family. Her case bears much similarity to the case of Barack Hussein Obama, whose white family gave him everything, including love, while his African father abandoned him, and the rest of his African family has declared him a pathological liar. Her story is quite similar to Barack Hussein's. She is also a pathological liar. Fortunately, each time she contrives falsehoods, there are always people who knew her well in childhood, and her teenage years, who step up quickly to correct the untruths she tells. In her zeal to climb further, she admitted having orchestrated a way to meet Harry, the disgruntled Prince, embittered that he was not born first so he could attain the Throne. Prince Harry is a man of much nonsense and has squandered every opportunity to use his titles for the good of his country. Instead, he spent his time engaging in anything nonsensical & in stupid behavior. In the midst of all this, he took up with her. So one rage-filled female met one rage-filled royal, and bombs went off. Since they "left" the royal family, they've been demanding money and titles from the royal family, but demanding that they not have to perform the duties that come with such money and such titles. Since this is unacceptable to the royal family and the British, the door has slowly been shut on them, something for which millions of people will be eternally grateful. These two have been living off some of the money paid to them by the royals (hopefully this will end soon), and that paid to them by journalists, in exchange for this rage-filled couple badmouthing the royals - something which journalists find makes fabulous copy! The marvelous couple have also been publishing books about their hatred of the royal family, the hateful British, and how they are the world's biggest victims. Once in a while Meghan podcasts her snoozable stories of who-knows-what (since they are insufferably boring). One thing is for sure, they do absolutely nothing for mankind, and are pretty much detested around the world. The British pray and hope that these vermin do not return to Britain, and the Americans pray the same, but as vermin are often inclined to do, they return time and time again so they can continue to fan the flames of what they consider their new job: badmouthing Britain and the royals.

But if you give credence to The housekeepers diarty. Harry was very badly treated but by Dianna, she cites two incidents. Prince Charles had planned with the housekeeper, that he would be home from playing in a Polo match at 6 pm. and that himself,Dianna and the two boys would eat dinner together,he had planned a dessert that both boys loved. Dianna was aware of this arrangement, despite that she asked the housekeeper to prepare two trays and herself and William would have dinner together in her bed, watching television. When the housekeeper enquired about Harry ,she replied put Harry to bed and bring him his dinner on a tray. The same scenario happened another time, Even if Dianna wanted to break up the foursome, why didn't she make it two twosomes and key Harry have dinner with his father as planned instead of a lonely dinner in his bedroom at 6 pm. I am no admirer of Harry, far from it,but I can see he was not fairly treated by Dianna, this sort of treatment builds up resentment in the sweetest natured person. I 100% agree with you. I think it is why he has taken over Diana's memory. He did say that Diana has already helped his brother and that now Diana was going to guide him and watch over him. I truly think that Harry learned to use his parents divorce and the death of his mother to manipulate his father, his grandmother and the public. He was allowed to get what he wanted as well as never had to deal with any consequences of bad behavior because it was all blamed on the loss of his mother. William was held to different expectations and standards of behavior. He and his mother were much closer than she and Harry were so no doubt her death was extremely emotionally painful for him. But he is all but forgotten when people talk about poor Harry who lost his mother as a child of 13.. William was not even two years older than Harry at the time Diana died. He too walked behind her casket. Yet Harry gets the pity and William is ignored.

In my opinion, the king is already showing signs of great weakness to even consider doing so. Apparently, he is going in the direction of conceding to them. @Sarel ito Sarel, based on the research that I have done on the Spencer side of Diana's family, and except for Diana''s two older sisters and her maternal grandfather who died before Diana was born, the characteristics that you described Harry as possessing, are same characteristics that he inherited from his mother, Diana and her family which includes both her maternal grandmother and her paternal grandfather, and her mother and father, as well as her younger brother Charles. Diana's paternal grandmother and Diana's father were both the victim of abuse that Diana's paternal grandfather subjected her and Diana's father too. Diana's brother is just as mean, petty, spiteful, and vengeful as Diana was when she was alive, and Harry is now continuing with Diana's propaganda playbook that is directed against the royal family. The media, royal commentators, and reporter as well as most of the general public put Diana on a pedestal and made excuses for her and all of her faults, because she was beautiful, photogenic. Diana was also very clever and very skilled at gaslighting and using propaganda to convince the media and the public that she was this poor, innocent, helpless victim of Prince Charles and the big bad BRF, when truthfully the faults that she accused the BRF of were actually the dysfunctions of her own family which she projected onto the BRF. Diana's lies not only destroyed the reputation of King Charles and Queen Camilla, but the RF and the UK government as well, because not only did she herself, create havoc, but her youngest son, Harry is continuing her destructive narrative about the RF.

The initial concept of woke ran sort of parallel to the Black Lives Matter movement in that it had to do with the need for a re-evaluation of policing in America as it had become (and remains) brutal and ineffective especially towards people of coloer. Nail on the head: Harry is used to being treated with REVERANCE . .. and so cannot deal with anyone who questions him. He becomes aggressive in his body language and speech. Tom Bradby pulled a quizzical face when Harry said that he nor his wife, had ever called any of the Royal Family, 'racist'., and journalist interviewer Tom actually mentioned the conversation which was had with Oprah Winfrey. Harry became a little agitated and jumped in, telling Mr. Bradby, quite forcibly, that Meghan had NEVER mentioned the word 'racist'. Tom Bradby was thinking one thing, but knew he had to change the subject because he could see that Harry would have stood up and stormed out of the interview, had Tom challenged him further. REVERANCE is exactly the word required here. Harry is too used to being bowed and kowtowed to. He cannot live in a 'normal' world because in a normal, regular world, no one would give him the special treatment HE believes he's still entitled to. GREAT video Dr. Persaud. On their wedding day, it seemed very off that the only person in attendance from MM's family was her mother. Isn't that a red flag? Harry clearly wanted out of the firm and he chose the least appropriate person to bring into it. She wasn't royal material. That's no disgrace, neither am I. But they can't have it both ways. And as regards the racial remarks about the children's coloring, my former husband and I had 3 children. I am Caucasian but dark with dark eyes and he has blue eyes and blond hair. We all, including myself, speculated on what the childrens' colorings would be. None of my children inherited those beautiful blue eyes, but one had green eyes! And now 2 of our grandbabies have those blue eyes! And the 3rd grandbaby favors me! Family genetics is fascinating.

It's normal for ALL families to wonder about what the unborn children will look like. It's not a racist thing, it's NORMAL. We all wonder if the kids will have dark hair, light hair, dark eyes, what shade of skin they'll have, because people are a mix of both parents, not clones of one and the color ranges can be minor or extreme. That's just how life is. We're very normal to wonder.

My Father payed attention to the fact that when I tried to get a fair portion of steak!!! It had already been devoured. I sadly scooped my crumbs into my pitiful six year old mouth. The following day!!! When I came in for dinner, the biggest!!! T- bone steak was hanging over the edges of my plate!!! I giggled at its proportions. My Father smiled at me. And, my oldest brother apologized and told me to enjoy my meal. Sometimes, the grown up has to be a grown up. Not, always the child...(...maybe, Maybe, MAYBE!!! There are many sides to the evidence of love. I personally believe most people are cracked pots. I learned, in my family, to wait for my Fathers answer. I learned, my Father had eyes. I learned, he always did the checks and balances in the end. And, in that moment. I was always surprised that I was ahead instead, of further behind. I didnt have to argue my points. I didnt have to talk about things...I learned to be patient and tolerant. My Father, was a fair man. I didnt have to relly on others, to be fair to me...all the best to you and your family. Has it occurred to anyone that Harry has been “bullying” William all his life? His jealousy from birth - both of Diana’s love for William as well as for William becoming king one day. William has had to tolerate all that jealousy. And jealousy Harry never seemed to dilute with kindness toward William. That’s a terrible constant attack William lived. For instance, there are films showing Harry kicking the Sh__ out of William if Diana hugged William first. There were arguments repeated by various household staff of Harry fighting with William because William was destined to be king. Then there is the burden Harry placed on William of blame for Harry’s bad behavior. Case in point, the Nazi uniform. Harry blames Kate and William. But Kate and William weren’t even together at the time he wore the uniform. Then Harry blames William for his emotional problems. How William did or did not react at various times of Harry’s problems. When does Harry give William a break? He is not Harry’s father, therapist, caretaker, provider, protector. When will Harry become a supporter of William instead of constantly expecting William to provide that support for him? Harry’s eyes are on inside out.

It seems the therapy he's had so far is of the variety - "get it all off your chest, keep bleating until you've worked it all out of your system (and I'll keep taking your money for as long as you think I'm doing you some good. So the longer I can encourage you to keep bleating, without helping you find the tools to acknowledge that this entrenched negativity is so very harmful, the better". Feeling deprived, feeling second best, feeling not valued - all these things have become labels. So harry has now found his box, climbed into it, and has labelled .himself as the injured party. And he's allowed that to become his mantra, his way of life. MeMeMeAndMeAgain has enabled that? Sad sad sad.. And yes, perhaps he really isn't a very bright person.

"Get everything off your chest" is very important STEP in therapy; without it one cannot progress to the next level. But if a therapist keeps a patient in that corner then he is hindering the progress of the patient. Rebellion is good to a point, if you stay in it you stay in a wasteland. AFTER rebellion -when one has taken everything off the chest -one must move on.

At the time it did not occur to her it was because I was 17 and she was ten. for several years we avoided each other. When she got to go to the movies at 17 she started to understand. Once I was out of the house and working and she was a teenager at home, we became good friends, and have stayed good friends for over 50 yrs.

His mother made him her world whenever other men weren’t around and then deserted him leaving him bereft when someone more consuming happened along. When she died she wasn’t with Harry she was at a hotel with Dodi. That she left him at that time, or any time, was a big hole for Harry. He was always her Spare.

I think this is a valid theory. He may have felt abandoned, felt her vulnerability in seeking out another partner so soon and also felt like he needed to look after her. All would have arrested his own feeling of safety and freedom to live his own childhood life. All of this kind of trauma takes time to uncover and heal from. Doing all of this processing in public is sadly not going to be helpful, though it might bring it all to the forefront.

I've thought all along that Harry is immobilized by a love/hate relationship with his mother. She appeared to smother her children with affection, then leave them to chase after men around the world--both a source of embarrassment for a 12 - 13 year old boy. I believe he will never become stable until he is brought to confront the underlying problem.

The statement that the therapists can't tell him the truth reminds me of something. My English teacher told us that the duty of the king's fool is to tell him the truth that no one else can. (Context King Lear's fool telling him give me an egg and I'll give you two crowns. Then the fool cuts the boiled egg in half, eats the yolk and gives the king the whites. At that time the yolk was considered to be the good part of an egg and the whites were considered worthless. In this way the fool showed the king that he had given the valuable part of his kingship to his daughters and they had returned the worthless bits to him.) Today, the young and especially the political left have silenced the comedians. It's dangerous to have no feedback.

It seems to me, there is one thing people do not factor into these discussions. Each of the brothers are surrounded by 'courtiers' who may whisper ideas to them that may not be altruistic. Harry has kind of shown the world his weaknesses, and does not seem to realize how dangerous that can be. He allows his emotions to rule his actions. As a result, he is exploited at every turn. Until he sees this, he is high risk to the Royal Family. My opinion is the breech will not be crossed until Harry sees his role in things and accepts he must change his ways. William has been trained since birth to put the Monarchy first. Harry has not.

Harry is living in a parallel universe if he thinks he can ever rebuild his relationship with William, he has completely burned his bridges with him. Harry has a major character flaw that his family has probably been aware of and dealing with for years. Once he met Meghan, who brings out and even encourages the worst in him, they lost control and now the whole world knows his character flaw. I know more adult men who are not speaking to their brothers than I know adult men who get along with their brothers. This dynamic seems almost normal but is on steroids with Harry because of his high profile and his ability to make money from his grievances and his lack of character allows him to do it without qualms.

My take away from reading Harry’s book and observing him in interviews is that he has much work to do to reach a place of understanding about who he is and how he got there. The loss of his mother was so profound and none of the adults in his life were prepared to help him through his grief due to their own inability to process it themselves. Certainly not the only major issue he faced but the greatest. He has a lot of work to do to embrace healing and a sense of peace through understanding leading to peace. I guess PP was tactfully trying to say that Actresses are not normally suited to royal life. He wasn't inferring that Actresses aren't decent people, just generally not suited to royal life that's a life of service and duty, not being the centre of attention like most actors, singers, comedians etc are. It's not to say that because actors etc are used to being centre of attention, that all actors like to be centre of attention, but they used to it regardless of f whether they enjoy the attention or not, personally for themselves or just enjoying entertaining others. They are used to being in control of their lives etc. So through no fault of their own, they not really suited to royal life. Acceptions to the rule is Grace Kelly who married into royalty.

99 % of other American actresses would have managed to play their role and do the royal job perfectly and would have had zero problems appearing at official functions with the Royal Family and simply follow protocol. They get all the training they need when marrying into royalty (as e.g. Catherine). However, Migraine is a toxic NARCISSIST so she was mentally completely incapable of adapting to others and follow protocol. She s an i*iot.

@@deno5547 What a load of utterly preposterous and totally nonsensical garbage. The proposition you attempt to utilise to sustain your claims, that William would change places with Harry in a heart beat if he still could become King makes no rational sense whatsoever. Indeed, Harry's entire derangement itself stems from the very fact that he will never be King, a reality he alone is unable to come to terms with. Many monarchs have worn facial hair. When courting, William and Kate did break up and when this occurred it was entirely amicable however after a brief period apart they both found that they wanted to be together and have stayed that way ever since. Nobody forced them to be together and that indeed was the number one thing that the late Queen learned by experience from the marriages of her two eldest sons. Cassidy Hutchinson was totally discredited from the day she chose to give unsworn testimony to a partisan Congressional committee which despite this never being subject to cross examination, made wholesale double hearsay allegations about events she never witnessed and which those who were, categorically refuted. She is nothing more than a very brief sentence in US political history, a person who traded her credibility for a few fleeting moments of attention in the same manner as a criminal who commits a shameful crime motivated by notoriety alone. The only people who hailed her as a 'hero' were those who were running their own partisan agendas, only the most politically naive would see that any other way, a hat which seems to fit perfectly upon your empty head in which Donald Trump still resides rent-free. Your vile cowardly attacks on William and Kate's children are utterly despicable and only provide testament to the type of truly wicked, degenerate mentality you have. You're not even a subject of the British Monarchy so your opinions are as irrelevant as your own prospects of ever ascending to the throne.

The older i get, the less interested i am in the stories behind a feeling. Stories restrict and empower those negative feelings. I feel now, that a means to grow over a feeling, is to make sure you search for experiences that give you the opposite feeling, get it? So, in Harry's case, who compares himself to William and feels bad, he should start comparing himself to people he feels at level with. Keep doing that, keep doing that, keep doing that, until you feel at ease with who you are, or even feel proud about yourself. Or, as some people say more compactly: snap out of it.
