Hippopotamus VS Polar Bear : Polar Bear VS Hippo who would win in a fight? The hippopotamus or River Horse is a large semi-aquatic mammal native to sub-Saharan Africa. The hippopotamus is one of the largest and most feared animals in Africa, that are estimated to be responsible for about 500 deaths per year throughout Africa.
The largest bear species in the world and the Arctic's top predator, polar bears are a powerful symbol of the strength and endurance of the Arctic. The Polar bears are considered the largest carnivorous land mammals on Earth. They have adapted to the harsh Arctic environment, with thick fur and layers of fat for insulation.

You should add poumd for pound as well. Like as if they where both the same size. Polar bear and hippo fight at same weight and in eithers territory. Hard to believe a hippo would function properly at the pole. Even with its thick hide. Polar bear would probably overheat in Africa but not as badly effected as the bald hippo. Hard to beat a full grown hippo tho. Especially with that huge mouth

Animal face off measured the force of hippo that comes to 2400 lbs.. This 1800 psi was tested on a female hippo. The male was found to be too aggressive to test on

2400lbs is a very high bite force. But I agree 👍 with you. Tigers killing a fully grown bull gaur ,or an adult water buffalo I can agree on that one. But Tigers killing adult elephants is ridiculous.

@@mrmuscle007. Yeah. It's very rare for tigers to prey on bull gaurs. I did a ton of research on the prey for Bengal Tiger and this is what I found. Nilgai , sambar deer, chital , wild boar and red deer consists of 85% of the tigers diet. But occasionally, they prey on females and young gaurs. Your 1000% correct. This is what I found earlier. Siberian Tiger weight. Average males reach 206lbs(179kgs) Females 178lbs(166kgs). The latest is 190kg. In the wild males can reach 255lbs(194kgs) Females reach 207lbs( 177kgs).

The common hippopotamus would win this encounter.The average, fully-grown male polar bear weighs about 1,600 pounds. In comparison, the average, fully-grown male common hippopotamus weighs about 4,500 pounds. It also runs at an average speed of about 20 MPH on land, which means no walrus-hunting skills are going to help against this monstrosity. I also would like to mention how the polar bear is only slightly faster, at 25 MPH when running, and also that the average fully-grown male polar bear has a bite strength of about 1,200 PSI, compared to the average fully-grown male common hippopotamus’s bite strength of 1,800 PSI. With that being said, in my opinion, if an average, fully-grown male common hippopotamus in good physical condition and an average, fully-grown male polar bear in good physical condition got in a fight, the bull hippo would have an approximately 90% chance of winning.

Hippo winner
Hippo will win if the fight takes place in water. It depends on the individual. Polar bears can survive in cold winter regions so if the fight takes place there , the polar bear has the edge. Hippo survive in warm climate of Africa . So here he would win. So to me it's 50/50. Both are strong. Great video man.

Yeah. The guy is so biased for Tigers and even over rates them .I mean how does a Siberian Tiger even reach 909lbs. Contrary than what most believe, this is actually an extremely obese tiger . In the wild , A Bengal Tiger should be at least 260kg (average) . A strong , healthy 💪💪 well fit tiger is suited for hunting but an obese tiger can barely survived in the wild. Studies have shown that Siberian Tiger have reduced in weight. Siberian Tiger.(males) Average weight= 206lbs (179kgs) Females. =156lbs(140kgs). In the wild, males can reach 255lbs(189kgs) Females 216lbs(177kgs). There are also some exaggerations from Tiger fans that Tigers hunt fully grown Asian bull elephants. This is false Usually, the largest prey killed by a Bengal tiger is a fully grown massive bull gaur or an adult water buffalos but an elephant is just above the Tiger pay grade. I do love Tigers but seeing those exaggerations do not make sense. If they did hunt elephants, they normally targeted smaller cows or Very small adult females.

But there are some Lion fans who tiger cowards and pigs. I'm not kidding. I've seen this in most Tiger fans comments Tigers fans are the biggest lion haters than what we believe. But for me , I favoured both. I love this big cats and I hope conservationist are doing their best to keep them alive and their populations healthy.
