You want to know why Maiden has so many fans? Like so many other metal bands they're real musicians playing real instruments incredibly well singing songs about real things. They'll have generations of fans from teens to seniors. No one ever said "remember that one summer I was into Maiden" , if you're a fan you're a fan for life.

I was 14 at the time, they were barely a month into the tour so were still very fresh and energetic. That Live video they did in Long Beach was near the end of the tour and they looked tired. Earlier that year I got to see Whitesnake a month before Jon Lord left, Cozy Powell was on drums and John Sykes on guitar! They don't make'em like that any more!

Bruce actually forgot to bring his mic on stage and had to go back and get it before he had to sing

I love the fact that most people Bruce's age are collecting their pension and Bruce is still able to hold a stadium full of people in the palm of his hand. Iron Maiden best gig I have ever been to!

Most people never realize that all metal songs tell a deep and meaningful story,They just think it's nothing but loud crap... I love metal.

That concert was in Santiago, Chile, the home of Iron Maiden. We are a small country, so filling the "National Stadium" with a metal band is incredible. And I love to say that I was there.. :') \m/

I have had the pleasure to see this song live three times in Bulgaria and this year THE BRUCE waved our national flag during "The Trooper", my friend Maria looked at me during the song and said "Thank you for making me listen to them, this is one of the best moments of my life". Even on the "Best of the Beast" compilation "Fear of the Dark" is the only song that is live performance and not the studio version. I think that Iron Maiden made it specifically for live performances and the crowd singing along.

Tennek Trey, then you don't listen to Hip Hop today. There are a great amount of hip hop artists today. Just because you listened to lil Pump doesn't mea hip hop sucks. Like any era of any genre, there are going to be some artists in it that are trash. Doesn't mean the whole thing sucks.

I WAS THERE GOD DAMN IT!!! This show was made in Santiago, Chile! My FUCKING country! It was amaaaaazing like any Iron Maiden Live show! We were 50000 people banging every single song of these amazing musicians! Now in october they are going to play again and of course I'll be there again. Goosebumps the whole video!

Two days ago they were here in Trieste, Italy and believe me: the energy you felt coming from this song is real and when you see them live, that energy is enhanced, amplified a thousand times!It starts with the first note and goes on well after the last note of the last song of the concert. Every musician of this group is extremely talented, but most of all they enjoy what they’re doing and put fans at the first place. These are the reasons why I’ve been a fan of Iron Maiden for 30 years and I’m still here today loving them. I’m glad you appreciate this incredible band😊

I've been listening to iron maiden since 1980's, first album I heard was "piece of mind", was absolutely phenomenal band , Bruce, Nicko, Adrian, Dave, and Steve were the ultimate lineup and their albums are amazing and very powerful.

Iron Maiden got famous without a lot of MTV airtime in the 80's yet when most those hair metal bands faded into obscurity Iron Maiden remains a sold out show.

"The energy of this show is so infectious, it's so fun, it makes me wanna be there" Yep. You pretty much described metal. Welcome, bro. I love seeing people from other musical backgrounds reacting to metal. That's pretty much what dragged us all into this, haha.

It's a "meme" band, which brings in viewers because a fuckton of people know the band and wan't to see a reaction to it from someone whos never seen something like that. I truly wish he would react to some good old wintersun tho! They're far above most metal bands in terms of artistic stuff (not a native speaker and its late so i can't come up with some nice word) Not saying he won't react to it, just that im doubtful :D Kalmah or any other melodic death metal band would be cool to see also!

This was the first official song I heard, introducing me to Iron Maiden (despite my awareness of them for a couple of years). It appeared on a metal compilation called "Masters Of Metal Volume I" in 1984. My first metal album as well. The Trooper quickly became my favorite song on that mix.

I'm a huge fan of Iron Maiden, I literally grew up on their music from an early age. I'm 50 now, and I've been listening to their music since the early 80's. They have so many killer songs.

Fui a hacer lo mismo porque dije 'tan quilomberos estos deben ser sudamericanos' y obviamente era del dvd de Chile.

Brings back great memories from when I first heard the sing back in the day. Love it!!!!!

Outstanding song. Everything is on point (instruments, voice and lyrics), and the guitar riff is timeless. Such an unique song. The first time i heard it was during my teenager years and very very far from tired of it, specially now that it bring me back to the memories of my golden years.

They're amazing grew up listening to them still do they just finished another tour and can't wait to see them if they do another I love the fact their lead singer Bruce was born where I'm from makes me even more hyped

vocally they aren't as good now, HOWEVER they are still better than a lot of live bands these day and instrumentally they are as good if not better than ever before.

The song is so great that as soon as the first riff starts all they have to do is to line up on the stage and go on with playing...and that crowd of 100000 ppl is cheering with tears in their eyes :)
