HINTS & TIPS #2 BMW R1250GS What's the information displayed above the rev counter? 🤔

Ойын-сауық

Another Hints and tips video, here we have a look at the TFT Home Screen ,at the STATUS LINE and RIDER MODE above the rev counter. What they can display and how we change them .
If you have recently ordered a BMW R1250 GS or are going to take one for a test ride, or buying a used one, these hints and tips videos are always worth a look.
Keeping it simple , the boffins at BMW have worked out 5 riding modes for suspension, throttle response and traction control etc that the rider is unable to change.
ECO
RAIN
ROAD
DYNAMIC
ENDURO
BUT THE BOFFINS ALSO ALLOW THE RIDERS TO MAKE SOME CHANGES IN 2 OF THE PRO MODES
DYNAMIC PRO-programmable mode
ENDURO PORO-programmable mode
00:00-00:53 Introduction
00:53-07:12 How to change and use the status line information
07:12-12:23 How to change and use the different rider modes
12:23-13:16 A quick look at the rider PRO modes.
ride safe and enjoy 🤪

Best video on tft that I’ve seen to date. Like you said, “keep it simple”. I got no tutorial at all after purchase. Took one look at the manual and knee it was semi-useless. Folks at my shop said google it. So far, until now, most you-tube videos have been semi-useless. Thanks.

Saw a video last year of a chap showing how to lock and unlock the GS. That was 5 mins of my life I will never get back! Was hoping your video would be different and yes it was. Went straight away into the garage and changed my display settings. Sometimes you don’t know what you don’t know and never thought the display information could be altered. I have looked at brightness and changed the type pressure readings but this was something new, so thanks. When it gets a bit warmer will go again into the garage and look at what else I can manipulate

Many thanks for explaining the BMW TFT screen. I haven't hardly been using what it can do , as the manual for me at least gets lost in translation. Really appreciate your small picture of scroll wheel in upper left corner to see how it is used. Alot to learn on current models. ❤ my 21 F750GS . Going to demo the new models next month when BMWs demo truck comes to town. Thanks again liked and subbed.

  • @gsd32i

    @gsd32i

    Жыл бұрын

Hi, not sure which version of software you have , but its the speed limit info. It will display the speed limit for that road you are on when you use the bmw connectivity app on your phone to the tft. to get rid of the square of not needed go into settings-display and then switch off speed limit info. that should get rid of the square. mine has a circle to tell me the speed limit , used it the other day, pretty good but your bmw app on the phone has to be connected to the tft so the bike knows where it is on planet earth.😁
