Hindu Monk Dandapani is Giving Business Advice ep.075

Спорт

What could Dandapani, a Hindu monk turned adviser to entrepreneurs, have to offer to a world seemingly far removed from the monastic life? Plenty it turns out. Through his practice he has come to personify the calm in the midst of the storm, and if there is one way of being that would be a boon in the tumultuous climate of the business world, this would have to be it. Calm reflection is the key to creating positive habits of the mind and Dandapani has mastered this in his many years of practice. He has built a solid foundation of wisdom which he will touch on in this week’s podcast.
Lessons:
Motivation requires a lot of energy, therefore it is important to let go of the things that drain your energy including negative media, tv, toxic friends and sometimes even family.
One of the greatest gifts you can provide yourself is taking a few moments each day to clarify your direction in life; once you do that, you can overcome almost every obstacle.
Use positive affirmations to shape and change your mind in order to attract good things into your life.

Just because he's a monk doesn't mean he needs to be poor. I liked Dandapani message & what he's doing.

I loved this. Especially the discussion at the end where 'Judgement' is talked about because of Dandapani's image/outfit then the acknowledgement of his choice to bring his experience at the Hawaiian monastery into the business world. Very courageous(in my view). I loved that you all declared "we are in agreement" about Dandapani's positive contributions to others. Thankyou so much. :)

I love the concept of the energy drainers, it is too true. I was skeptical of what I could learn when I first saw this episode had a monk as a guest, but my bias attitude was given a hard dropkick. Thank you very much guys for this one, it is something many people need to see/hear (as with the previous episodes).

+Nikki Diamond-Christudas There are Buddhist centres where you can go and spend time there. You don't need to jump in at the deep end. Go spend a week somewhere and see how it feels. If the urge is there then it is likely that the path is meant for you, and, believe me, the path is worth it! :)

Can you guys imagine what kind of a world we would be living in instead of going to universities , graduating with useless degrees and a 90 thousand dollar debt , if it was made mandatory to spend 4 years in a monastery and learn from your master ? 🌎

Its fine to examine these guys with a critical faculty. It is an area full of shysters. Personally, I would reserve judgment. Not being cynical but you cannot serve God and Mammon.
