Hello Ashok, Yes it is safe to buy from Amazon/Flipkart. Just make sure you double check the seller details before making purchase. I have been buying since last 3-5 years, no issues at all.

Couldn’t find any fixed info on this, as long as tax paid no one cares. Selling was smooth for Gold, didn’t sell much silver as of now but best to ask around in your area to know more.

XRF testing can solve this but highly inaccurate, would recommend opening and testing them properly.

About 2 days ago the difference between MMTC PAMP and BRPL didn’t exist because BRPL didn’t change their pricing. Today there is a difference of around 2,000. I can recommend MMTC-PAMP considering it’s still below 45K. Buying offline will be a better option for both if stock is available. Buy 1kg of BRPL and 1KG of mmtc pamp to balance your price per gram. 😅

How is the premium paid for it recovered at the time of sales? Do they pay a little extra for the premium at the time of buyback? What about making and gst charges, are they too adjusted in buyback? What is that card having bars? "Certi card"? Sorry didn't get you.

For Gold, their pricing is different while buying and usually selling. So technically they are giving some premium back. Making & GST is not refunded, that is the basic concept of bullion or jewellery or any metal. Certi Card is like the certificate of authenticity.

@@IndianBullionaire So 3% gst and and 2% making charge, give or take. While buyback some companies deduct 1-2% in the name of checking. So, at the time of investment one should be ready to deduct around 7% from the returns, right?

I think it is not legally allowed to ship bullion from India to any other country, prohibited by the law I believe. Unless someone comes to India and takes it with their baggage, then only it is allowed I think. Not entirely sure but I did see some people on Instagram who sell Indian MMTC PAMP bullion to the community in the US.

People in other countries are more interested in the sovereign as us but since it is gold only so if you don’t find the right buyer, there will be a jeweller giving you a value based on 22kt gold price.

Varun ji, is gold coin or bar sent under insured from Amazon when we order online . Coz, many time we purchased desi ghee through amazon. And the delivery boy just so carelessly hand over the item. If we order online through Amazon, I doubt the delivery man may do some 420 with the gold item. If insured than ok
