It’s a shame. I always knew how great she is. She is just not a show off like the media likes them. A bit like Angela Merkel. I am glad in Germany we are able to look past that and care more for professional, sometimes rough, unsocial candidates.

I have to disagree with you. Whether she did this or not........ugh..........Trump would have angrily have contested the results! "I will be okay with the results...........as long as I win." Donald was out to literally rip her to bits (one way or another)! Don't kid yourself! She lost by 37 million votes! Trump used "criminal conduct" in order to gain political favors! And THAT is illegal! Look........Trump was going to break the law in order to win! His own former attorney James Cohen (I think?) went and said that he broke the law (criminal conduct) in order to win the election! (Which is literally against the law!) Even now.......Joe Biden is dead in the water (even with Kamala Herris on his side)! Trump wants to literally WIN at all costs! And if he lost the electoral college in 2020, he will angrily contest it and he will initiate riots, hostility, rage, etc! -_- You know, Hilary Clinton said it best: "Trump opened "Pandora's Box", and now it's going to be impossible to seal it up and contain it!"

The Heavy Hitter He comes off as more authentic tbh! They have just spoken about her brother dying not too long ago and two close friends, and yet she answers she doesn’t think about death, and then catches herself, and brings it back to the deaths close to her that she has recently experienced. When someone is authentic about their emotions they show more signs of grief (not to confuse it with how someone is grieving like crying and such). But if you say you don’t think about death literally seconds after sharing you’ve lost a friend you claim was a close friend, that is not a lie, you don’t think about death, and she is no dumb-dumb and fully aware how most people would take such an answer which is why she corrected herself and brought it back to the people she had lost. Also add her own health issues combined with probably having people in her social circle at the moment who are sick (because if you’re around 70 you will experience lots of health issues yourself or /and among your friends and family). Anyway, when people answer instinctively, and then correct themselves you have seen their authentic self! So I’d say you see her a bit, and it’s not the pleasant side that she wish us to focus on that is the authentic side. Not saying she is all together rotten, because even “baddies” have a good side to them because hey that’s life, just like so called good people aren’t all together good even though they have more pleasant qualities than rotten ones. But she definitely doesn’t come off as that sweet and caring grandma-type. 3:02

The Heavy Hitter I believe it is, especially since both her and Howard talk about how repressed she was during her campaign and how hesitant she was to show off her real personality during that time. Plus at this point in her career, what does she have to hid about her personal life?

We have much in common. I also matriculated at YALE back in the 80s. My mother was also named DOROTHY and had a VERY rough life. She worked for years in a NON-air conditioned plastics factory in Berlin, Connecticut to keep a decent RENTED roof over our heads. She never owned her own home. She never owned a car or even had a license. She never had a BANK ACCOUNT of any kind. She never owned a credit card. But I seldom ever felt deprived as a child bc she gave me MORE LOVE than anyone I have ever known. I adored my mother with all my heart (I was the baby in the family) and even though she died in 1997 I still think of her and miss her every day. NOBODY ever loved me more or stood up for me more than my mother. RIP Mama.

Great interview Howard.... As a Canadian I always thought she was the better choice . It's amazing and extremely sad why this woman is soo disliked and reviled by soo many. She would have been a Transformative President. Really intelligent and thoughtful. Plus the obvious... she was the most qualified candidate. She would have worked with the Republicans like her husband Bill did. It was 2 for the price of 1 deal.....

  • @TheOptiima

    J. P. Montpellier - To your point about her being so disliked and reviled by so many people, I still to this day don’t really understand how that happened. In 2015 she was one of the most respected politicians in the US, but by the end of the 2016 election, she was viewed as a villain by the vast majority of people. Maybe it had to do with Trump’s bashing her so much that even the democrats started to believe it, plus her being salty about the election (although I don’t think it’s that big of a problem, you can even still see it in this video) probably had a role to play.

I don't think she'd have been transformative, but she obviously is a well informed hard working person with lots and lots of qualifications. The contrast couldn't have been any starker between her and Trump and it was very obvious all along. Even republicans know that she is a knowledgeable person and Trump is an incompetent moron. Even though Clinton's campaign was uninspiring and she had some annoying scandals it is a historic crime of the American people that they elected the most awful person on Earth, a disgusting buffoon that has absolutely no substance or message, all because of the fake outrage and character assassination machine they created with Cambridge Analytica about fake scandals like Benghazi or the emails which 99% of the voters don't even understand. And now we have 100.000+ thousand people dead because of the pandemic, a number of dangerous antidemocratic precedents set by the white house, every environmental regulation rolled back and relations deteriorated with EU, Mexico, Canada and the list goes on.

I really don’t understand all the hate this woman receives. She’s an intelligent, thoughtful, accomplished woman. Was she a terrible candidate? For the time, yes. But overall, no, and she would’ve been worlds better than trump. My only issue is whenever the election is brought up, I never see her seem to take full responsibility for it. It’s not wrong that the Bernie bro’s and protest voters were a big part of why she lost, but she lost because she didn’t spend time in places like Michigan. Trump won those handful of states by the tiniest margins. She easily would’ve won had her campaign spent at least SOME time there. At least she seems happy now. Good for her. She gets to go down as the person who not only received more votes than trump, but as it turned out would’ve prevented the US’s reputation being destroyed like trump has done. Edited to add: This was also an amazing interview. One of the best I’ve seen in a long time!

Howard - you have gotten to be such an amazing interviewer - you subtly catch your subject off guard by throwing curve balls every once and a while when they least expect it - I don’t know if it’s purposeful or if it’s just your ADD brain sort of following it’s own path. And you truly truly are interested in your subjects as well - more a deep conversation than an interview - now I feel I need to go back and watch all you have on you tube ... amazing job

This is so sad to watch. To have to go from listening to her to what I'll no doubt be subject to listening to later on in the day, it's sad and surreal. On her worst day, she's got more common sense, compassion, experience, rationale, morality, and professionalism in her pinky than that 'thing' we have in the White House now does. And I'm not even a big fan of hers. We blew it, America.

This is the Hillary I always knew existed. It just goes to show no matter how brilliant, warm , likable you are in politics the operatives the advisers can steer you wrong . Because you have to trust them due to the amount of work it takes. It just a shame this didn’t come through I. 2016. I’m just proud I voted for her, Barack and Bill. President Clinton was my first presidential vote in 1996 and I collected all the Denver Post and Rocky Mountain news articles on First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton. I loved her bravery and the role she carved out for herself in the campaign and White House. .She was covered like crazy as she held campaign events on her own in 1196 and 1992. I knew was a trailblazer.
