Yeah! A lot of shows bring in “annual” events that occur in one episode and are forgotten. This episode had so many Easter eggs that the bunny is going out of business.

This is one of those rare happy endings where it doesn’t feel cheesy like “how did they get here?” It feels perfect and beautiful. Seeings all the characters like the rat king, the trolls in the crowd, amazing ending

I love the fact that they added two almost meme things to this ending, first one the crush of David with Kaisa that was a sweet detail, but the other one that almost seems like trolling is the one where Hilda's Dad and the Bell Keeper encounter, taking in consideration that many people, including myself, thought that the Bell Keeper was Hilda's Dad.

A day before season 3 aired, I dreamt that David was crowned King. At first I thought this meant that maybe David becomes the ruler of Trolburg. Hilda S3 came out on my birthday, it was such a journey and the most perfect ending. We got to see all the characters again, even the raven! I love how Anders bumped into the bell man, which everyone thought was Hilda's Dad! I loved seeing Victoria too, my favorite characters are the ones that are crazy, they really just have a fascinating mind. Hilda is the best

A beautiful ending to a beautiful show. There will never be another show like _Hilda,_ not in a million years. Everything about _Hilda,_ from it's characters, to its themes, the music, the folklore... it all comes together to create some that is truly special. I've watched some great cartoons over the years, but _Hilda_ is the one that will always stay with me.

Hilda will live on FOREVER

Wrote this on a passionate, yet tired whim last night after watching this for the first time: As of this note I’m writing, the final season of Hilda dropped a week and a day ago, I just finished watching the finale, and the time is 10:47 pm. I’m honestly floored. I’m a stickler for clever storytelling and risk-taking. Hilda doesn’t do the former all that much, and does even less in the latter. While that should keep me from counting this as an S-Tier show, I will always remember it for being charming, fantastical, and reaching jaw-dropping levels of gorgeous. Seriously, this show FEELS like childhood. I can’t believe I was watching Season 1 when I was in High School. Since then, my family has grown and we’ve found a new home. Lately, it’s been easier to cry when watching my favorite shows or movies, and Hilda’s final season was no exception. I knew in my heart that the story was muddled and desperate in many places, but the beauty and charm was enough to push some tears out here and there. Especially in this finale, where I bawled several times. Not just because of the aforementioned, but because I was saying goodbye. It’s messy at times, but Hilda will always hold a special place in my heart. I conclude with a quote that I’ve held dear since the beginning: “Well, that was pretty traumatic. But such is the life of an adventurer.” -Hilda, 2018

I agree, I'm a bit disappointed I felt this show had alot of potential it could've been the best with a proper story with the absolutely amazing animation, art ,creativity and characters but even though it's not perfect it Is easily one of the top 5 or 3 in cartoon history and we should be thankful that they were able to even make a season 3 without it being canceled just like all of the other good cartoons on Netflix, in conclusion this series was special "Don't cry because it ended smile because it happened"-Dr Seuss

1:33 woah! I'm surprised that even Trevor appeared in the end. And alongside the marras, Tildy, Kaisa and even the Bellkeeper. This was a good way to end the series. Just like many other shows I loved, it ends just when I want to learn more about this world! But that's ok, I guess the best for a show is to see it end when it was getting really good. This show ended so great, today at Christmas I finished watching it, and as if I had grown up with Hilda, my little girl is now big and will continue to see the world with great eyes. I love this show, thanks Hilda!

Honestly I’m just thankful we got see Raven again. He’s been absent an entire season and is probably one of my favourite characters in the whole show if I’m honest. When I saw him in the trailer I was hoping he’d have a bigger role in season 3 but alas he only appeared at the very end (which is still better than nothing)

It’s good BECAUSE it ends. Gravity Falls. Over the Garden Wall. The old Nicktoons. Cherished because they were finite and complete. Now look at The Simpsons, a show once brilliant now despised and irrelevant. When someone says “The End” and you go “wow what a great story!” You hold it to you. If the story never ends, you can never love it because that impression only comes at the end.

@@metroid767 right! I'm glad it has an ending, a great one at that. some shows can go forever, but many are cut short without an ending.

That was a pretty perfect ending to one of if not the best western animated show made in these last two centuries. The finale was highly satisfying, answered all the important questions but also left the door open for a little more, wich I find to be a good thing. For example: should Netflix ever decide to do more stuff, it would be nice to see more of Louise, see if Hilda ever learns to fly Peter-Pan-style or where the giants are currently living. We can't say how the franchise will move on after the shows ending, but it might depend on what Luke Pearson intends to do next. From what I've heard he does want to do something new but seems to want to write more about Hilda. That being said, the ending is as good as it can get and let's hope Hilda get's the Adventure Time treatment, if you all understand my hint ;-)

I'm so glad that everyone got a happy ending, especially Hilda's grandparents.

Makes sense to bring up Breaking Bad when it comes to good endings since El Camino & Better Call Saul had good endings to.

The beautiful score mixing along with the theme song is what makes the ending feel so good. Im really gonna miss this show 😭

You are not the only one that hopes for a continuation. If the creator continues to write more stories (as he seems inclined to do so) and a high popularity remains then it might happen. It might only happen in the distant future but I'm willing to wait!

From time to time in life, someone somewhere creates something special and beautiful, something that connects deep in to your emotions and ignites again that love for adventure and discovery and joy from long ago. As a 44 years old guy, my inner child says thank you to the creators of this wonderful journey!

I think I will never be able to forgive myself for having missed the entire series since 2018 and only after watching some clips of its third season did I decide to watch it and I am about to finish watching it and I really loved it and honestly it is the best animated series on Netflix and all time I would even say that it is almost a perfect series like Gravity Falls and I am surprised that Netflix, knowing what it is like, has not canceled it

Would've love to see another timeskip ending during or after the bird parade scene and we saw the main characters as adults to see Hilda publishing and selling books about her adventures, Frida becomes a professional witch and runs the library, Alfur and Adeline dating, David becomes an Entomologists, Twig becomes an adult deerfox, etc.

Man, I had so many of my headcanons confirmed by this scene that I’m not really mad we didn’t get any of the side characters getting longer appearances

And so another great show comes to an end.... I want to be very honest with you guys: I felt like I've been losing more and more interest in animation ever since The Owl House ended. Disney show have become trash lately, and other companies are not offering anything interesting anymore. Which is why I came to a decision: after The Ghost and Molly McGee (the last Disney show I love) ends on January 13th... I will quit animation for good, aside of a couple of exceptions. No point in following something if it doesn't give something to enjoy anymore right?

It’s one of those Finales that felt natural and real, and above all else it gives you a sense of peace and quiet. Hilda is one of the few shows that makes me feel relaxed and soothed whenever I watch it (the other is The Peanuts)

I absolutely loved watching the finale, every second of it.

Man i love it its a beautiful ending and it really brings an end to a great series its just a shame that many shows never get a proper ending but atleast hilda does

Hilda is a series I remember exactly where I was when I first watched it, being 5 years now makes looking back on that too surreal, especially now having to face its ending, doesnt seem like theres any good animated shows left

Should we ask the creators to make a revival? The team of the show confirmed it supposed to have more episodes, but had its order cut down by Netflix. We lost a lot of amazing scenes and script! Same, to me it happened during season 1. I thought I wouldn't get into it at first but like you said, by the middle of season 1, I just noticed how much I loved this universe and its characters. EDIT: According to Hilda Creatures, I've been playing since August 2018, I guess I've been watching from longer than I thought then.

@@DuskLegend Its characters period, compared to other shows that often portray its character as whacky and zany, even great shows like Gravity Falls, this one was more down to earth and it really was a breath of fresh air.

Hilda's Dad and Johanna may not be a couple anymore, but at least they may just stay as friends.

@@sonicgen20 my guess is they are divorced. I am not saying it is what is going on, I am just saying that is what I think.

It's finally ended. It will be missed, but it was blast to watch it start to finish.

The show is indeed over, but this doesn't mean Netflix won't change its mind in the distant future. And besides, Luke Pearson might write more stories of Hilda that can be adapted so never say Never!

And to think this all started because the elves trashed Hilda’s house 🥹🥹🥹🩵❤️💙🩷🧡💚💜
