I've had dachshunds for over 30 years, and I'll never want any other breed! The one we have now just turned 10 in June, and he is the "baby"! And he knows it! He's so sassy, saucy, and dramatic, but still SOOOOO adorable! He's such a sweetheart!

Dachsunds are the BEST fur babies!! I am on my 2nd one. She just turned 7 months and knows she rules our home! (& our hearts)

Mini dachshunds are so funny and hyper alert!! They're so goofy!!

Never knew how entertaining they could be until one rescued me. Or how cuddly they could be. Or how sweet. Or how independant (stubborn). Or how smart! His people reading instincts have been proven accurate over and over again. Snoozing against my left hip as usual. And the tail never quits.

I love these little dogs although I don't have one. These days, whenever I see one it makes me incredibly sad. A muder in the south of England, Helen Bailey, a famous children's author had a golden mini Dach called Boris. Her psycho boyfriend murdered them both. Their bodies were found in a cess pit under her house. I just hope and pray that they were both dead before being thrown in there! The monster Ian Stewart did it for money and is now in prison...turns out that he killed his 1st wife for her insurance. Rest in Peace Helen and sweet Boris. Love your dogs.
