What is the detection trigger distance? And what are the horizonal and vertical FOV values?

You should compare this against Empiretechs 4k-t (aka dahua 5849H) the 4k-t is running dahua custom firmware, I found it to be a lot better then the DS-2CD2387G2.

Yep will do. I'll look at doing something across multiple brands. In my opinion it does work pretty well.

Hi excellent video.Thank you. Cannot help but think why one would want to purchase a 8MP ( I assume PoE) when surely one would get a better image with a colorvue camera. Such as DS-2CD2387G2-L(U). Thanks Ramanlal. Comes back to cost and features and if you require active deterrence with a flashing light and two way speaker communication. In regards to NVR DS-7616NI-I2/16P and DS - 7716NI-I4/16P will just depend on the amount of storage you require. DS-7716NXI-I4/16P will not be required as the AI is inbuilt into the cameras.

how good its acusense is at detecting human at longer distance? For example if people walking on the hill behind the cars?

@@EQLNetworksSecurity idk, if the specs say IR range is 60m, does that mean it can detect human 60m away at night? Or as long as it can "see" the form of human on its screen, then acusense will work as expected

hi Ben, i have four cameras ds-2cd2t86g2-2I, advice me please, which nvr is more suitable for them. Will it better to choose nvr with acusense?

Hi Mark. This camera already has acusense. Going with an acusense NVR only helps with cameras that dont have acusense, as it allows those cameras to have AI via the NVR. What NVR do you currently have?

Yes. You can use as a standalone camera with microSD card for recording.

Thanks for the review, I think I'm leaning towards 4mp DS-2CD2347G2H or 8mp DS-2CD2387G2H ColorVue with HybridLight so you can utilize both IR or the backlight.
