Poor you on your stomach pain. I feel for you. I hope you wake up feeling better. It was a crazy busy hot day on top of jet lag, and no doubt some unusual food. You were so sensible going on the hike in long sleeves Fleur. You have to be so careful. Well done on the zip lining and all the scary bridges, steps, ladders and platforms.

Just a tip- if you are eating outside, please keep an eye on your food incase bugs get onto it (like the bug got onto your drink- hope you didn't finish it after that) - that could be the cause of your sore tummy

Is rainy season, in Central America we don't have summer or winter or the other seasons, it's call dry and rainy season and the rainy season started in May! :)

Same with Northern Australia :) I feel like people never realise or they forget XD so many times have people come to Queensland in hopes of spending sunny days on the beach but its the middle of the rainy season !

They don't have the "traditional" seasons, but just rain- and dryseason. It never gets cold there and yeah the best time to visit is in december/ january as it doesn't rain and it's not that humid. Lived in Tamarindo for two months and I really miss the beautiful country :)

These Costa Rica vlogs have made me hyper aware of the mosquito situation in the tropics and I now have an eye out for all the repellents you mentioned in the previous video. My mom and I are going to the Caribbean next month and we'll need to get prepared. Thanks, Fleur! I hope you are feeling much better!

Costa Rica only has 2 seasons, winter (humid and hot as hell) from May to November, and summer that is sunny and windy (cold) that is from december to April. You are in Guanacaste that is the dryest area of the country, so can you imagine how humid it can be on the other side of the country called Limón? that is the most humid area of the country.

I LOVE zip lining so so much!! It's the best thing in the world!! I do it everywhere I can when I travel. I've even done it in the snowy winter in Whistler BC Canada 😍 it was absolutely magical and beautiful. I am addicted!!!

I cannot imagine what ziplining is like! I would never be able to gather up the courage to actually _do_ that. Hope you feel better! Also awesome eyeliner at the end. When I first saw that at the store I thought such a unique colour would look really strange, but it actually looks amazing!!

For someone from Europe the best time is October through March/April. It's not so hot and humid during that time. But it's high season. And no Costa Rica has the same seasons as we Europe do.

I love zip lining! I went a few years ago in Mexico and it was the best I've been diving to go again

Hope your stomach feels better Fleur!!! There's nothing worse than being away and falling ill! I've just recovered from a stomach ache, I had a nasty reaction to a certain brand of tropical juice 2 weeks ago, and it irritated my stomach like crazy. I felt bloated and had horrible trapped wind, but I'm much better now, and hopefully you will be too!!

Hi Fluer and friends! Costa Rica doesn't have a winter. Like most of us on this part of the world we have a rainy season and a dry season.

Fleur, that bridge looked so scary. I recently walked across one like that and it made me so uncomfortable. The zip line looked really fun. BTW, I am loving those Valentino sandals and bag. They are gorgeous.

You should go to Botswana or Zimbabwe if you want to see epic monsoon rain. It is incredible to be out in the bush when the rains come and watch the landscape change. :)
