There is not a thing wrong with trying to prevent stretch marks. It also helps with itching as your skin stretches. I adore all of Fleurs vlogs.

The shoes seem more purple in that light! Asics has a pair that truly is all black that are really comfy! Because they are so neutral I've even been wearing them with dresses as well when I've got thick black thights on when my feet have been aching!

If I understood correctly, I have the same radiators at home, I painted them years ago with a special paint for radiators (and their material)-no paint fumes coming off, when heating is on. Had no chipping yet. Hope it helps!

I'm adding this to the top of the thread rather than replying to all the drama below as an overall comment to all...Firstly Credit to Fleur for not getting involved in the comments, she is a happy and confident woman and I believe inspiring to 99% of us, Clara A you just happen to be in the 1% that feels otherwise right now and that's fine, it's your opinion. yes stretch marks are normal but we all have things about ourselves we would like to change and trying to prevent damage to our bodies is fine too. Please can everyone just bear in mind that Fleur works incredibly hard and that's why she leads her "privileged" life (the majority can see that anyway) but right now she is a young woman taking a huge new step with her life, it is a very personal thing and she is sharing her experience with us. If you don't enjoy it then don't watch but Fleur, your beautiful, your inspiring and you deserve everything you and Mike have worked hard to achieve and your going to make amazing parents x

Wanted to say, that more than body hydration from the outside, hydration from the inside has helped with stretch marks for me. I didn't get any stretch marks, despite using only the Weleda anti-stretch marks oil when getting out of the shower, till I had a couple of days when I drank less water than usual (on the advice of my doctor). Regret it severely. Haven't had new stretch marks since I started drinking a lot of water again.

Mike driving to London reminds me of me driving to the city whenever I crave food from a specific restaurant. you MUST make a tart with the greengages- shortcrust pastry blind baked for a little bit, some ground almonds sprinkled on the bottom, then arrange your greengages around, sprinkle with caster sugar and put a few nobs of unsalted butter on top. SO good- tarte aux reines claude in french 😘

I use just oil (I think it's almond oil with a little bit of some other oils added). It's the best because it is the most natural thing and doesn't have parabens that aren't the best for pregnancy in larger quantites. Only it's annoying because I need to wait for it to absorb longer. But hope it works.

you got lucky! stretch marks are genetic,I used bio oil my whole pregnancy as well and still got them. It helps with making them fade later on though...

Palmers Stretch Mark Lotion! I used it through pregnancy on my belly, never ended up with stretch marks. I continue to use it to avoid stretch marks on the "chest area" and none there either!

I used so much stretch mark products when I was pregnant, thought I got away without getting them but ended up getting stretch marks in the last 2 weeks of pregnancy maybe it doesn't matter how much we products we use if were meant to get them we get them haha I've learnt to accept them and I think people should understand its perfect normal

I loved that crumble recipe, I am going to make it! Your garden is wonderful. It reminds me of my aunt and uncle's garden in Geneva. I am unique here but I used the Mustela anti-stretch mark cream. I love the smell and no parabens etc. Organic coconut butter is amazing too. Great skin healer. Btw, you should stick to full fat yogurt while you are pregnant. My obgyn advised me of a conclusive Harvard Medical School study which linked children having much higher odds of developing asthma and hayfever if their mothers ate lowfat yogurt while they were in utero. Full fat has all of the nutritional benefits which are stripped when the fat is taken out. Benefits include brain development support for the baby and less sugar to avoid gestational diabetes. Organic eggs are amazing for children's brain development and immune system support too. Be well!
