Hiking & wild camping in the Cairngorms
The last stop on the bus, this one should be epic!
I plan on wild camping in all 15 of the UK's national parks, this time it was the Cairngorms; 15 down 0 to go.

I first watched this video around a year ago and it's the video that inspired me to get in shape. I'd not long since had a heart attack and could barely walk a mile. Attempting it would leave me in pain for 3 days. Seeing how beautiful the Cairngorms are made me want to go and I knew that I'd not be able to properly enjoy them with how I was. I made the decision to start working out and spending time every day on the treadmill. I've since been able to visit Scotland, do a bit of walking in the Cairngorms and experienced how nice they are first hand. I'm not where I want to be, yet. There's a long way to go but I'm well on that path now and I hope one day I'll be able to take on some of the adventures you have. Until then, thank you for inspiring me to break out of the rut I was in. Thank you for giving me a goal. Just thank you. You genuinely changed my life.

Well done, keep it up👍
I absolutely love how you buy your meals from the regions you're traveling in/to and then give a proper shout-out while prepping them; especially the brews! All 15 trips were awesome. What's next on your wild camping horizon?

Buying local food and beer has been a highlight of this series! I’m so sad that it’s come to an end!
Spent weeks in the Cairngorms when I was a kid and now more recently despite being from the south west of England. one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. We stayed in a lodge about 20 miles north of Pitlochry. Truly in the middle of nowhere. climbed a lot of the mountains, drank from the burns and laughed a lot. Will never forget it.
I maybe had a bit of teared eyes while watching this :') The first video of this series was the first one that was uploaded since i subscribed, and from then i never left. From these very well edited videos you showed how beautiful uk landscapes can be (for someone like me who has never seen them) Thank you Liam🙌🏼
Awesome Liam, at work at the moment, sweating like prince Andrew, will watch at 10.30pm, cant wait.

My wife and I were in Scotland a few weeks ago, and my goal is to go back and wild camp in the Cairngorms. And now I've sussed out what to eat and drink!
Liam's Drinking Game: 1 sip - Liam comments on the view 2 sips - panoramic shot of countryside 1 large gulp - Liam says something is perfect, or couldn't get better 2 large gulps - Liam boils water or films himself drinking 3 large gulps - Liam says 'fresh' Down your drink - Liam says 'thank you' to the place he stayed in/thank you to the countryside Shot - Liam says he slept well ❤️

Get those tattie scones toasted or in a frying pan mate 😆
Mate you are definitely supposed to cook tattle scones! Fry them in a wee bit of butter. Also pretty sure those scotch pies should be done in the oven haha

The tattie scones will take your full English fry up to the next level.
I have to say this might be one of the best channels on KZread. Great videos mate.
You honestly could be in New Zealand with some of the shots of the Cairngorms. Stunning mate, loved every bit of this series
You need to shallow fry the tattie scones and best as part of a fry up.
Liam: You are such a cool dude! If I were 50 years younger, I'd love to join you on a hike. So envious. Youth is gorgeous!
Just wow, scenery is simply stunning. 🙌🏻🙌🏻
Thanks for visiting beautiful scotland. I like how respectful you are to the land as alot of idiots like to leave places a mess when camping
Potato scones best if grilled, toasted or oven bake - for a crispy potato scone. Goes well with Sausage, bacon etc

Ehh… fried on the pan is how they’re made.🤌🏽
I did this walk from the Glenmore visitor centre to the Green Loch a couple of weeks ago…it was beautiful. There was someone swimming in the loch too…I was there with my jumper and coat on!!
Un toasted potato cake with cold chicken curry … savage Liam 🤣
Excellent. Honest, straight forward, no gear lectures: a joy to watch. Thanks, Phil.
Never ate potato scones cold. Fry them on the pan then have them on bread or a roll. Add some tomato sauce
Awesome video - can't wait to get my van up here and do some camping.
Congratulations Liam 👏🏻👏🏻. Loved this series - this episode particularly. Your videos just keep getting better. Thanks for sharing and taking us along xx
Would love to see Liam do a solo wild camping trip using public transport filming the travel done to reach his destination instead of just seeing the journey by foot from where he has parked his car. Not all of us can or want to drive or own a motor vehicle therefore it would be good to see that it’s possible to do solo wild camping using public transport like trains, coaches and buses.

I can speak from experience that it is absolutely possible to do that in the UK, as I have no car and have been on 4 wild camping trips alone this last year and a half. It normally involves a train and at least 2 buses, as there is less direct routes as you get further into the highlands. To get to the cairngorms where Liam is here, I took a train to glasgow, then to Aviemore, then called a taxi to get to feshiebridge which is where I started walking from.

Absolutely possible, even just going from your house and linking onto a nearby walking trail. If you live in a city, unless it's London you can probably walk out from the middle of it in only an hour or get the bus near to wherever you want to go and link onto the trail. Get some OS maps of your local area and go from there, you don't need fancy kit, just a little but of know-how and determination and that'll get you most places pretty easily. In the backpacking britain video he got the train and coach to John o' Groats, so even for a muckle journey like that it's possible.

Thanks Liam, we really enjoyed watching you on your adventures in the National Parks, what a beautiful country you live in... From all in Ireland
Should do all the bothies in Scotland
Loved this video and the series! Thanks for making them.🙂👍
The Cairngorms are special. We didn't hike them like you, more toured with some walks, basing ourselves out of Grantown on Spey. We loved every minute.
What a series, inspired me to get out and wild camp 3 times. All in Northumberland national park. Each time was different, and yet all beautiful
yea........ tattie scone is not the same as an english scone, you are supposed to fry them (or toast them if you are a heathen). cracking with an egg.
well done Liam all 15 national parks thats quite an achievment
Congratulations on camping in all the National parks! I've watched all of them from my home here in Astoria Oregon (The "Goonies" town) here in the Pacific Northwest U.S. Cheers! 🍻🍺

Always wanted to visit Astoria! I'll get there one day 😊
Love your videos; they’re so calm and relaxing. Thank you!
Five years ago, during my most recent holiday in Scotland I rented a mountain bike in Grantown on Spey, drove a bit along the Speyside Way and then up into the Cairngorms in that same general area. One of the most beautiful forests I have seen and fabulous for biking. I also came upon that loch, which is as beautiful as it looks in the video. They were a lot more people there then, though (it was afternoon, early in June).
What a perfect spot! Paradise, if it wasn't for that pesky Scottish wind! Love you positive mental attitude Liam, so glad we discovered your channel😊👏
Potato cakes certainly in the North West are grilled/toasted and go with an English breakfast. Absolutely love them. Great video and series, good job

Ahhh lovley. Thanks for bringing some peace and tranquility into my home tonight. 👍
Liam, just brilliant mini series, loved your food choices.. looking forward to your next adventure
Wonderful series sure hope you have more travels planned
Potato scones taste even better in toaster
Just awesome.... loved watching these videos. You'll have to do a compilation of all the best bits on your national parks hikes.
Great hike 🤩
Well I have to comment. I have been busy but the other side of me has saved this as a treat. Liam you are the Master of the Vlog on your great outdoor journey. Always pleased to see what you’re walking adventure looks like and I am never disappointed. Except of course, I am disappointed, that your mission is complete but you have another in mind for sure. Great video work.
Been waiting for this mate. Loved this series sad it has to come to an end! Realest dude on YT
Every video has been epic, love the enthusiasm towards the food and IPA 👍
Amazing as always!
Ayyyy been hoping you'd have a trip to the Cairngorms, looking forward to watching!
Enjoying your videos, stumbled upon them recently. Your camera work is noticeable too, a good mix of walk-by shots and first person shots, shows that you give some decent thought to camera & editing. Nice one 👍
Mate you've got to get the tatty scones and toast then just till they're warm than drown them in butter 👌🏼 that's how we'd eat them. Or on a fry up.
looked like a great hike, what scenery!
Fantastic spot Liam, with that and the squashed tea cakes what’s not to love haha 😍 thanks for sharing 🏕
beautiful spot
I remember hiking in the Cairngorms last year and hiked past that exact lake and I thought “What a great little beach to camp on ⛺️” and there you are camping on it, awesome. Great video 👍🏼

That opening shot is gorgeous!
Another top video Liam, cheers.
Looking forward to this one!
I remember this spot from years ago. Back then it was too busy to camp sadly. Nice to see the place again. :)
I would love to see you taking on the famous American trails Liam. Maybe worth thinking about
Ah yes, this is the one I’ve been waiting for!
Awsome Liam wonderful camera work 10 out of 10 for all you show and bring us.Much Respect from Tasmania.
Bro just ate the pies straight from the packet without heating them up 🤣 Love the videos though Liam, the editing is top notch and your content is unique and special compared to most content creators these days, well done mate 👍🏼

Well done pal! Epic adventures!!
Mate, have enjoyed all of your travels and every moment of every National Park! Wtf you gunna do next? .... Can't wait!!!! 👍🏻👍🏻
YESSS. I come with my plate at my desk and your video pop's up. I just love eating with you Liam !!
love watching these videos mate! you seem like a top guy
What a great video to finish an epic series!!
Loved it Liam, great way to end an epic series!! Peaks next after Wales? 😉
Beauty! We'd love to get to the Cairngorms soon. Really surprised there wern't many midges, but it looks pretty windy which definitely helped with that.
Amazing video as usual , keep up the fantastic content Liam , your videos always make my day , thanks very much , I love the positive vibes , keep them coming !!😁
Was at the green loch in May...beautiful area.
Stunning 🥰
I visited that Lochan in September (a bit busier with people then) but still worth the hike in. I had to see for myself if the water really was that colour - when the sun shines the water is a beautiful blue-green and so clear.
Enjoyed this one, what a great camping spot
Love the series man. You should revisit your top 5 parks for future vids!
Fantastic last national park camp. Where next? Thank you for sharing. Take care.
well done Liam !
Those tunnocks things remind me of going round my nans on a Sunday when I was a kid. Looks like a banging tea!
Smashed it man, well done 👏
Great stuff, take care
tunnock's tea cakes are just stupidly delicious. i slam a whole pack in one sitting, my digestive system does not thank me for it
Definitely my favourite spot around Aviemore. 👌👌
Brilliant series Liam, well done lad, you thought of walking the circumference of England? would love to see that.
When I was a kid....a long time ago...Irn Bru was advertised as "Made in Scotland from girders!"☺
I would love to be a butterfly for a couple of weeks and follow you on a multi day hike just fluttering in the wind watching what you get upto off camera!
Quality video Liam. I miss my Scottish favourites you know. Lived in Portsmouth most my life. Tattie scones usually fried in butter with a fried breakfast. Totally different taste. Scotch pies are best from a butcher where you can sometimes get them heated up and go great with a pint of milk. Usually dry out the packet I find. Nice with chips and beans too 😋
If you ever come to Manchester, Fierce have opened a bar in the Northern Quarter and the beer is excellent! Great vid as always. Living the best life.
Great series :)
Great vid but yes tattie scones are best cooked……with a fry up is best 😎
Great video again mate.
Potato scones are great a bit toasted with a lot of butter.
Great stuff Liam!! If you read this please mention, or text, how to avoid tics and know where they are likely to be. I understand they like to operate near water.

They live in tall grass, so pull socks up or wear trousers if walking through. You can also buy a cheap tick remover to detach them safely
Well done on completing all the parks. Best 'til last, with the Cairngorms! Raw potato cakes (or tattie scones as they call them up north) 😆. Much better toasted, them. Great content, nice one Liam.
What a beautiful spot! I love the joy you find inevery destination and the food you bring! Being from the US, i have no idea what you are eating most of the time! Lol
Beautiful. What a way to finish on the 15th! But Liam, you’re telling me, you didn’t swim in that pristine water?!?! Gahhhh
Just found your channel, well done you!!! I would love to get a campervan and me and my dog just head out camping and going adventures!! Keep doing what you're doing 💕
Great series watch everyone 👍
