Exploring the Cairngorms National Park | Hiking Cairn Gorm, Photographing Reindeer & Balmoral Castle

What a spectacular few days we had in the Cairngorms National Park last Autumn. It started with a visit to Balmoral Castle and a hike up to Prince Alberts Cairn - Balmoral Pyramid. Then a walk around Glen Tanar National Nature Reserve and Muir of Dinnet Nature Reserve to see Burn o’Vat and Loch Kinord. The following day we hiked up Cairn Gorm Mountain, even though the weather was against us! On the final day it was a bit of sunrise photography at Loch Morlich, visiting a wild herd of Reindeers and ending at Loch an Eilein. I think it's safe to say we made the most of our time in this beautiful part of Scotland!

Is Mary inviting a new style of video? A adventurous-meditation-hiking video? Gentleness in narration and music, with beautiful greenery, and smiles every where. And a bits of exploration and adventures.

It was a little different than my usual ones wasn't it! To be honest it was because it was the only relaxing holiday we had together last year and usually I am always talking to camera and in a way interrupting the flow of enjoying nature so on this trip I decided to allow myself to immerse myself in my surrounding a bit more rather than thinking about what to say to camera. Just capturing the moments was certainly more relaxing, I just had more work doing voiceovers when I got back but it was worth it. I will resume normally filming in future - but might still do a few like this if you think it worked well?

Another magical video, with your characteristic blend of humor, wildlife and amazing scenery. It was particularly interesting to see the grounds at Balmoral, which you normally only see in brief news shots. That is such a beautiful area (it reminds me a bit of the U.S. state of Maine, but without the moose).

Maine is on the same Terrane as the Grampians, that the Southern portion of the Scottish Highlands are on. It runs from Norway, through Scotland and North Ireland before crossing the Atlantic.

Mary, hello. Did Jimmy Page live in a castle? beautiful the castle 🏰 Medieval 🎩👌 Mary, Maria, That river there, I think you can practice kayaking. The first time I saw Lagoa dos Ingleses in Nova Lima, there was the house of kayaks. But I've never been in a kayak 🤔🛶 Mary, Maria then you look at Praia dos Ingleses in Florianópolis and the city of Londrina - Pr. British presence in Brazil. Birds você viu o Sabiá in Brazil 🤠 Mary, Maria Have you seen Sabiá in Brazil ? 🐦 The sun came out 🌞 It continues .. Mary, a photo of me that is on my channel was taken with a semi-professional camera. Exactly, the Sgt. Peppers 🌶️. In the montage I made of the carnival in Ouro Preto in Belo Horizonte, very cool
