Thanks for sharing. I miss hiking in/around Mt Rainier so much, but it at least gives me something to look forward to when I visit.

Our pleasure, BVW. We're hoping to do a couple new-to-us Mt. Rainier hikes this summer. We'll be sure to post the videos when we do. :)

Nice hike, like the stairs and the glacier ice. Whoever done the pathways is doing a great job. Like also the helicopter picking up water I think. Thank you! :))

I hiked half of this today. Tried going up to Panorama Point but it was so cloudy you couldn't see anything. Although the forecast said mostly sunny, how are we supposed to know if it will be sunny or not? Is it sort of hit or miss?

Dang! So sorry to hear about the cloudy weather. Alas, we've had that happen on a few hikes over the years: mostly sunny forecast, cloudy hike. Mt. Rainier, in particular, is apt to "wear a hat" of clouds on days like that. Unless the forecast is for clear blue skies, it can be hit or miss, since mostly sunny everywhere else can mean partly cloudy wherever you are. The one positive: you now have a reason to come back! :)

Dang, Scott. Just watched the video in full, and everything worked fine on our end. I wonder if KZread was glitching. Maybe give it another try?
