Thank you for the comments! Glad that I could share a bit of the beauty I saw.
Magnificent camera footage. Well done. You captured every beautiful angle of the landscape, And with such respect for the wildlife, and the mountain itself. And you kept it so peaceful to watch, without the noise of humans. I know the exact trails you were traveling on, as I hiked them 40 years ago. I am too old now, and can only walk the flat trails with my dog. Thank you for sharing such a peaceful place, and bringing back some cherished memories. You are a nice respectful young man.

Thank you for such kind and wonderful words. I originally intended to share these videos mainly with my family and friends back in NY since they never get to truly enjoy nature, but I’m glad I made it public. I’m happy that you enjoyed the landscape and the videography and I can’t wait to share more.
Thank you for this lovely hike! My hiking days are over , but I have always regretted not doing this hike on Mt. Rainier. Thank you for letting me walk with you!

Fantastic video! Well done, just gorgeous. Just watched on a big screen TV with my boyfriend who is planning to do Wonderland this year. Very professional yet felt personal, too. Loved the music, the closeups of flora and fauna, your attention to detail.

@@kwanglinparkthanks, I’m sure he’ll have a great time. I predict your channel is just going to blow up one of these days! Truly great work. We kept commenting as you crossed a creek/bridge/field… “And now he’s got to go back, get his camera, and cross it again!” The little stuff matters.
Thank you for sharing! These old hips can no longer do what I enjoyed!

Great job on completing this hike and capturing the beauty. I did this hike at the end of July going CCW. It was a hike I will always remember and never look at Mt. Rainier the same in the future.

Well done video of the Wonderland Trail. It’s a beautiful location and you captured it so well. Your choice to leave out dialogue was interesting. I enjoyed trail videos with & without dialogue, but having no dialogue, and just the natural sounds, helped bring me into the hike with you. I’m curious, what lens you used? I look forward to seeing more of your videos.

Thank you and glad you enjoyed the video. I used a very basic lens for this video. A 16-50mm with 3.5-5.6f. I kept my shots at 3.5f and tried to make it as wide as possible with this lens. Typically prefer this one since it’s nice and compact to bring on a backpacking trip like this one.
Awesome job man. Hoping to solo the trail myself next season and disconnect for a week

Enjoyed watching this. Nice capture of the trail. It's on my bucket list for my 65th birthday next year. Can't wait to see the guide you put together. What dates did you go this year? Trying to decide if August or September are best for next year.
@kwanglinpark

Both months are great! I started the trail on September 7th til the 12th. I personally liked September because it wasn’t too hot. I think August gets really hot for the hike during the middle of the day. Glad you enjoyed the video! The guide will be uploaded very soon. Hope it helps your planning for your 65th!
Geezus....the benefits of youth. You completed some mileage on each day of your hike. Considering the set up for shots as well. Absolutely amazing!!! What's up with that fresh water lobster??

Appreciate it! I was destroyed afterwards haha and needed about a week of complete recovery. I was surprised as well with how big the crawfish was. Amazing how nature becomes when it’s left alone.

@@kwanglinpark I hiked the White Pass to Cascade Locks part of the PCT when I was 46 - 8 years ago. My body has been aching ever since. Only came across 2 people on that hike. I've never felt so much inner peace as I did on that trip. Never knew about the Wonderland Trail until I came across your video...thank you for sharing. I'm due for another hike.
Can’t wait for the guide and favorite spot video next! Awesome trail. How would you rate the difficulties? And we’re you hiking at night or just dawn of day?
@kwanglinpark
Жыл бұрын
Dawn of day and definitely a difficult trail of done in a short amount of time.
Very nicely done, very nice music. It was "only" 25 minutes long, but how do you pack that gorgeous full distance into 25 minutes? I've done 80% of it in day hikes only, and I hope to do the other 3 hard-to-get-to sections with overnighters.
@kwanglinpark
Жыл бұрын
Definitely worth doing the whole thing! There are so many more clips that I didn’t share because I wanted to compact my favorites. 25 minutes definitely does not do this trail its justice. Glad you enjoyed and hope you get to those other sections this year.
