Love this series
It’s definitely more difficult to put your opponent in checkmate without your Queen, but in these situations it seems he had great positioning and the Queen sacrifice worked in his favor to make other pieces have a better opening and protection with each piece. Very nice! 👏🏻 Actually almost fooling the opponents, because everyone is always so eager to take the Queen when exposed and lose sight of how it might weaken their structure.
At 6: 48 the best white move was pawn promoting queen.
Brilliant queen sacrifices. It's stunning!

'Nezly done' game - best queen sac
Bonkcloud Master is here OwO
my favorite player
conclusion: if your opponent gives away his queen and he's high rated, don't take it, it's a trap
7:02 Couldnt white have replied to hikaru's Qd3 move by putting his Queen on f2, which would allow him to protect the f3 pawn from being taken, preventing mate?
‘Oh no my queen’ -2 wise men
Is the second position really a "sacrifice" tho? I mean it looks like black was going to lose queen anyway, as the only move besides taking Knight with the queen is King E8 and then white has Knight F6 forking king and queen.
Make the best 5 capablanca queen sacrifice
At 7:02 wouldn’t it make sense for white to move Queen F2? Covering bishop G2 and also queen F3?
All that greatness yet magnus still calls him just a “decent” player
i knew it!!!!!! for every single queen sac
The last queen sac was the best and easiest to understand 🤔
Would it still be a checkmate if king goes h4? the queen can block the rook right? ref: 2:25
Hikaru: i don't need queen when i got bishops knights & rooks to conquer your castle
I think this shows how strong the ceiling really is. I think the chess engine championships and tournaments should give it a chance.
Hoping for Hikaru to do a top 5 Simon Williams Sacrifices.
2:59. White move the pawn to survive
6:45 I calculated the same I'm so proud of myself xD
Yeah even I can make all those queen sacrifices but The sac against aronian is Brilliant.
I paused and still couldn't find Hikaru's queen advance. Amazing move
I guessed the last move . Yay
Game 4: what about queen to f2? Does that not avoid the checkmate?
"Botez Gambit"
The 5th reminds me of Carlsen vs Karjakin 2016 world championship last match
GingerGM does a good job putting respect on Hikaru's name.
The Last One
3:00 what if white pushes the pawn on b4
Ah yes when I’m see thumbnail I’m was like why he not get that king?
Very very nice
1:34 if he takes the bishop with the rook it’s checkmate no need to stretch the game
On #4 why didnt gelfand play qf2 or if he did was it still a loss?
Hikaru play style is similar to mine..the only difference is i lost most of the time
