Myself was driveing in europ for 20 yrs at 4 weeks a time i loved it i hanged up my keys 2 yrs ago as i was 67
Yer,done the route you took into Italy. Beautiful route to the tunnel. Then motorway all the way to Ancona. The motorway gets worse as you near the port. Must say you did muck up going in but you got there. Hated the system they have for booking the tickets for the ferry. He'll of a place to get to. Plus it's very narrow the port. Not a lot of room to maneuver around. But the ferry was good nice clean room. Port hole to look out at the sea. Plus plenty of places on board to get food and drink. Greece is easy to get round. My wife and l retired therev10 yrs ago. Never looked back. Only picked up on your channel by chance a couple of days ago. Love the patter and where you go. Good to see a different take on driving. Wouldn't want to go to some of the places you go to. Bad enough taking my pick up through. Let alone a Pantech the size of yours. Much respect to you the way you handle it.
Another excellent video. Can’t wait for parts 3 & 4

Yeah France know how it should be done and don’t forget the routiers.
Odd the signs would send you on such a wild goose chase, as, imo., the only sensible way is indeed to take the Ancona centro exit and then cross the roundabout near the university to go straight down to the waterfront. Decades since I've been there, but hard to see why they'd want to close that off for trucks. Alternatively, one could, when joining the Autostrada Adriatico, go the other way (instead of down to Ancona), exit at Falconara towards the rail yard and then down the coast from there, but I don't remember if that's really "truck friendly".

It depends on the distance between booths and how close to a metropolitan area you are.
Just found the channel really enjoying it do you use a sat nav or Google maps

I type the route into google maps. Then just have a phone with pocket earth on it to have offline maps as reference to see where I am and read the signs as I go. No sat nav.

I'm looking at getting into euro tramping. The company you drive for, is there plenty of individual single truck euro work or is it mostly a convoy of trucks for events? 🙂

There’s a mix of both.
Hope you dont mind me asking. Are you happier doing runs abroad or do you prefer to do uk work. I hope they pay you well for your troubles.👍👍

I like a mix of the two. Its nice to be away but I wouldn't want to be permanently abroad.
Where is Greece?
How long would a return trip.take.

Absolute fastest it could be done is 11 days.
If you could choose any Truck out of all of them, for all these European adventures which would you choose?
