Lincoln City fan here, married to a Chesterfield girl who used to go to games at Saltergate in the late 60s/early 70s before both families moved to Peterborough where we met doing our A-Levels and we married in 1976. Her uncle, now in his 90s, was for many, many years a season ticket holder at both the old ground and the new one. Indeed, my son and I have been to watch the Imps at both grounds a number of times over the years. Reason for posting? Well, I have always kept an eye on your progress, particularly since you followed us out of the Football League into the Conference and would like to see nothing less than you guys winning the title this season which you really can achieve. Six/seven years ago was our last season outside the EFL and what a season we had; it seems that you guys are actually having a better one this time around and I pray that you go on to massacre the rest of the Conference and win the whole shebang in real style. We finished on 99 points in 2017 and I firmly believe that you will surpass that figure. Best of luck for the rest of the season.

First Spireite Comment! What a day that was! Credit to Barnet for being magnificent first half, and to over 1/3 of their fans coming up the M1. We really stepped up a gear second half - it was something to behold - we could have had 6! Again, credit to Barnet for not stopping when 4 down. A message to the rest of the National League, and probably the 2 above. STID!
