Over the 90 minutes the better team won. Second time we have had this ref and he is utter garbage. Never gives fouls ( for either team ) until he has lost control. Barnet were good in the first half but if you don't take your chances you have only yourselves to blame. The title is NOT over yet but this iwas a big step towards it. When we come to play you in January, to paraphrase "Jaws"..."You're gonna need a bigger stand"

We've generally done well against you guys at The Hive.. Won 3-0 a couple of times. The best team won today, as you said we didn't take our chances when on top and got punished for it. The ref was on his own little planet during the first 30 mins, as you said not giving anything either way..

you guys need a bigger stand too, couldn't see an empty seat at all, owner should be thinking of that if you sell out like this regularly

Thought Barnet in the first half were absolute quality and the better side. Didn’t give us a second on the ball and but for some great defending could have had 4 goals although with better finishing we could have had 3 by half time. Second half was a different game altogether but I see no reason why you can’t keep it up this season. Just don’t push us too hard…

Dean Brennan's a top manager and has done fantastically on a shoestring budget. Title race far from over especially if Barnet can get that goal machine Gary Hooper firing

Wow what a truly banal thing to say. Budgets are set by things like attendances and commercial activity. If you want a competitive budget then perhaps average more than 1k fans at home? Imagine if Chesterfield had Man City's budget. What a facile poor argument. Not our fault you have a tinpot set up with no fans.

@@simonparkinson2432 We sing the song, "We've won the Conference 3 times, you'll never sing that." Of Course it's only banter as you guys were always higher up the food chain. I've followed Barnet for 35 years and they finished 2nd 3 times too before the Play Off system was invented. Back in those days 2nd meant being the 1st loser. As for Kanu, he saw a lot of the ball in the first half when Barnet were on top but no end product.

The majority of Chesterfield fans that I have met were intelligent well rounded individuals. Barnet exist within their budget, within their means. Good luck to Chesterfield FC
