I've been saying it for years, the goalie should stand in the middle when taking a free kick, even if there is a wall. He would have saved the ball but he was too late. You can't be in the other corner in time if you're standing like that. Wall or not

No. No Boro free-kick will beat the Rochemback Rocket which was hit from a greater distance. Downing hit a memrable volley in the same match. Roberto Carlos's spectacular bendy free-kick is the best I've ever seen.

Winning at home to Leicester and Southampton, doesn't mean too much when you still lose at home to teams like Stoke, Qpr and Millwall.

The surprise for me was that Choudury was still on the park to make that tackle. Just on repeated offending he should have been yellow carded 20 minutes earlier.

Not impressed at all leicester, after you’ve lost last few games and let ipswich and leeds catch up abit I have no doubt you’ll thrash watford and start to show abit or fight only until ur top spot is in jeopardy. Got very lucky at the start of the league winning late on and have been playing poorly since Sunderland. Not coming back up at this rate a matter of time before leeds bully the foxes out of their automatic promotion spot
