I take your point but watching from the couch early Monday morning, I never thought you controlled anything, and honestly thought we would finish over the top of you. Contrast your last ten minutes in 2017, when you knew you couldn't win, and nearly did through urgency and purpose, with this final ten minutes, when you could have won but didn't. Because you stopped playing, and froze up

@@joedennehy386 If you watch from the last 10 minutes of the first half and the first 20 of the second we controlled possession, territory, set piece and were forcing the abs into unforced errors and penalties. We created opportunity after opportunity and if we had the ruthlessness of an Irish team you would of been 20-30 points down and the last 10 minutes wouldn’t of mattered. The game in 2017 was massively different where we were dominated in most areas and had a surge in the last 10 minutes and were always behind in the game having absolutely no pressure on us to win being massive underdogs. In contrast to last Saturday we were on your line up by 9 points in a position of control and New zealand are to good a team not to have a 10 minute period of pressure and that came in the last 10 for them. But as i said in my previous post and many previous posts about Scotland, we are one of the worlds best at putting ourselves in positions to win and creating the try opportunities but our inability to convert these isand for the last 2 decades has been our downfall.

A thoroughly deserved penalty try, but the ball broke sharply left, when he was running at 7 metres per second, ironically he would not have got to it, and it wouldn't have been a try probably.
