Tap penalties, with and without player shifts, have been this years thing in the Premiership, all season. I just can't work out why. The kick to the corner for a catch and drive has a much higher success rate. The only thing it can be is that teams don't trust their lineout or driving maul.

Yet you probably watch NFL or baseball which are very slow games in comparison.

How are you going to show a red card given and no footage of the actual tackle.....

Plus its resulted in a 5 game suspension. It looks completely accidental if you can see the play and replay.
