Uansett ,han er en rimelig bra anerkjent artist har sett ham live og jeg likte musikken , det er noe fengende med tropical house., Jeg glemte å nevne Ylva , Astrid S , Maria Aasen og Emilie Nicolas Min absolutt favoritt er Susanne Sundfør , alle andre har et stykke igjen for å oppnå hva hun har levert i løpet av 10 år. Aurora er på god vei !

Today was an awesome day. I was listening to ABGT#422 and Jono Grant played Solarstone's remix of God Don't Leave. It blew me away - not just his talent in being able to remix a great song; what really grabbed me was such sublime vocals. Today I discovered Highasakite and tonight they sit high in my list of favourite bands of all time. ❤️❤️

Found this band in January (it's now nearly August) because Ingrid did a duet with Morten on a-ha's Acoustic Hits album, and I LOVE their music! She has an amazing voice, this song has such powerful vibes, it's the tune that I think of whenever I see a toilet that's 'Out Of Order' and their ability to turn upbeat songs into moving ballads in their acoustic versions is what makes them so special to me. Keep it up, you talented and beautiful people!

Brilliant song, brilliant video, and such great mixing/production...and, I'm kinda hoping the album mix is longer; I could easily "do" a 6 minute+ mix of this, it's fabulous. I remember seeing a post on Highasakite's Facebook when they were out in a forest in Sweden at night. This must have been what they were working on at the time...?

She's distinct too. Norway has a plethora of female vocalists too, but few I put in her tier... ESP when it comes to the ability to really stir emotions. Emilie Nicolas is like my 1b to Ingrid sometimes, but that's about it. I already have a Highasakite tattoo, need to figure out what a drowning island looks like first to get one for Emilie haha.

I first heard "I call bullshit" on some random spotify list and had to stop to check what it was. That song alone is an anthem to the party you don't want to end - whatever that may be. Now I heard Mexico and Out of Order....wow! Absolutely grandiose. Not sure about all the older material but if the new album will hold the standard of these new songs then I'll be first in line to buy it and play it in the wee hours on my record player.
