High Strategy - Urukon

Ойындар

Urukon is a brand-spankin'-new strategy game by Iron Boar Labs, and in many ways it's more of a board game experience than a classic 4x or Paradox-style strategy game. That said, it's very good at doing what it sets out to do; gameplay is simple but the mechanics underlying them are deep, every action is valuable, resources are tight, and your AI opponents are stubborn, making for hard-fought and satisfying gameplay, win or lose.

These things happen, I can't really do anything about that. But I can turn my love into violence.

Oh this is great. Definitely picking this up. I’d like to see more of this on the channel if you’re inclined. I think the art is quite pleasing and zen to look at.

This looks like a really interesting game, will have to try at some point. With regards to trading while at war, that in combination with the 'negotiation' mechanic makes it seem to me like it's less cities within a nation-state in the modern sense, and more like a bunch of city-states allying as a faction?

Are goals for each nation the same each game? I might have missed that info.

Nope! Every nation has very different goals; my first playthrough was the Republic of Nowhere, which is trying to build a certain number of landmarks, while the playthrough I started in this video is trying to secure specific cities.

@@GeneralConfusionPlays i guess what im asking is if you play the same nation in a row is it always the same mission?

Oh, yes - each nation keeps their own set goal, no matter how many games you play..

Yo, new game. Wusup! I mentioned on your streams about CK2. Thought you hated Paradox type games.

Man this looks great. Different win conditions per each faction is so much better than the typical aimless stuff Paradox (And, well, others) do.
