X-COM: UFO Defense Challenge Run - Danger Close

Hell yeah. It's about time.
THE RULES:
1. As with all challenge runs, psi-amps and psionic powers are banned.
2. We are ONLY permitted to use explosive devices in battle.
3. For additional challenge, I am also banning autocannons with HE rounds, because those are regular useful guns even in a normal game. The legal list of weapons is therefore as follows;
- Heavy Cannons (HE rounds)
- Rocket Launchers (all ammo types)
- Small Launchers
- Blaster Launchers
- Grenades (all types)
4. We are still permitted to use medkits, but NOT electro-flares, because those are a weak man's light source. Incendiaries will be our light!

Ah, poor Eric Tams... slowly bleeding to death due to a lack of med kits. A classic way for soldiers to go out in the early months. The ghost of Lizzie from an alternate timeline was there to guide him into the light, I'm sure. This challenge run will certainly be an adventure.

FYI I recently discovered that the "use all time units" button has to be right clicked. So your soldiers don't really need to workout mid mission

lol I love that thumbnail, hey General have you heard of Rosigma? it's a 40k mega mod for OG xcom, it's a ton of fun and feels like a sequel rather than just a mod, you should try it, it feels right up your alley. if your not convince yet, I should mention that the chrysalis unit for slanesh basically bimbofies you, the all sister of battle units and enemy versions have been lewded in multiple different ways, there is furries, multiple different imperial factions you can play, almost all the enemies from 40k are in and their units are unique so you won't feel like your fighting the same thing over and over again, tons of technologies, multiple new and fun mission types (except for space hulk). This mod is totally based you have to try it.
When I saw stats for Gallowglass my initial thought was "Well, this guy will certainly get killed the second he leaves the Skyranger" However, he exceeded all my expectations at 1:33:06 Also glad to see you back, GC.
