I feel like at a point it’s best just to start real life because that’s where you’re going to do your most adult learning. I don’t think some kids a loser for not having a job at 15 but at the same time I learned a hell of a lot more about life from having to get bank accounts, my first car, dealing with my first boss & paychecks etc. then I ever did in school.

We did farm work when I was a kid. Kids from all over the region would catch a blue bus and work in the tobacco fields / barns. $5.50 hr. starting pay.

Not ashamed to say I was a huge fan of them (granted I was also in elementary and middle school) so I do have a nostalgic connection to it but their last couple albums are pretty terrible.

Some people enjoy collecting guns like many of us enjoy collecting music. People have different interests.

Dawg if you really wanna make your big show profitable I would highly recommend either putting on smaller shows to build a local community outside of HHR or go crazy with the fliers and social media advertising like making sure all the bands post about the show. Flying in bands and a $55 ticket for 300+ people just to break even is gonna be quite the task

I agree that Evil Army's self-titled and Toxic Holocaust Evil Never Dies are the best thrash albums of the 2000's, but one release that seldom gets mentioned would be Sauron's Thrash Assault. That album belongs in top 5 thrash releases of the 2000's. Other honourable mentions would be Nocturnal Graves' Satan's Cross or Gospel Of The Horns' A Call to Arms.

J-Dawg I could be wrong but I think in California (at least the bay area where I'm at) you can't get a job until your 16 (which is when I did) because you need a work permit from the highschool(probably don't need one if its under the table). It's definitely worth it having a high school job I was able to attend a TON of killer shows!
